☺️ Pet Remedy is clinically proven to help calm and develop emotional wellbeing.
🌱 It’s a natural way of tackling anxiety and stress in animals.
🔬 Several years of research and trials have resulted in a unique formula using low concentration Valerian essential oil, blended with Vetiver, Sweet Basil, and Sage
🧠 Pet Remedy works alongside the brain’s natural messengers called neuro-transmitters, which work by telling the nerve receiving the message either to calm ( via GABA pathway) or get ‘fired up’.
🎆 In times of stress or anxiety the nerves get over stimulated, which leads on to the many different signs of stress we see in our pets.
🧘 The special Pet Remedy blend of essentials oils works alongside these natural relaxation pathways to help calm the nerves of anxious or stressed pets.
🐰 Ideal for pets including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, rodents and birds
🐶 Ideal for treating dog anxiety as well as anxiety in other pets

An adorable little visitor to the One Hop Shop; meet Millie. 💖

She is 10 years old and very shy, but the quiet and calm shop environment helped her feel at ease. Our One Hop Helpers always give timid dogs space and they are welcome to have a sniff around and take their time. ☺️

With only a few teeth left, finding the right treats she could manage was her mission. ✨️

For dogs with dental struggles, we have a perfect selection! Softer chews and small bite sized treats to suit all abilities. 🦷 Older dogs need to be careful around fat % and texture.

Richard helped little Millie pick out the perfect meaty morsels and she left with a lovely selection bag of duck strips and senior treats. Seeing your dogs light up and watching their little tails wagging makes our day. 💚

Gorgeous little Tanner was in visiting yesterday. 😍 🐶

Just 6 months old, he was after some more treats that could be used for training. He loved our black pudding sausage slices but what else would he like? There was only one way to find out.... samples!

We brought out an offering of our duck training treats and wild boar to see which he would prefer. The clear winner - Wild Boar 🏆

He left with a bag and a very happy waggy tail. 😍

The shop is filled with the smell of sweet apples. 🍎

The first row of our orchard trees 🌳 has been pruned and we have bundles of fresh branches available. We also have XL Jumbo logs for those mega gnawers. 🦷

Apple branches are the perfect enrichment for rabbits, guinea pigs and rodents. They love chewing, gnawing and bark stripping. It helps aid dental health by wearing their teeth down but also keeps them busy and away from your furniture! The bark is also extremely high in fibre and vitamins, providing essential nutrients and minerals. ✅️

Pop on down and grab some!

What's on this weekend at OHS ✨️🌿

A busy weekend for our bunnies as we have foster swaps all day today and an adoption event tomorrow. 🐰🫶

Did you know the shop mainly acts as a reception for our animal welfare charity?

When you see those bunnies hopping in and out, that's our amazing team of welfare advisors helping them on their way to finding forever homes.

Round at the rescue centre we have approx 100 rabbits at any one time looking for homes. As Scotland's leading rabbit welfare organisation, our team never stops. Whether its educating, rescuing, fostering, mentoring, there are always rabbits and their guardians needing help. We also support and work alongside lots of other animal rescues and organisations to improve animal welfare in Scotland.

Our One Hop Helpers are all volunteers who are highly skilled and qualified in their day jobs and give up their time and skills to help Scotland's most neglected and abandoned animals. Many of them foster, do home visits and support adopters throughout and after their adoptions. All in their "free time". 💚

If you want to help or get involved, why not pop in and speak to one of them? We are always looking for more like minded people to join our community of animal advocates.

We are open today and tomorrow 11am-4pm, if you want to chat, ask advice or shop. Pop on in! ☺️
