🚨 HOW TO SPOT A COUNTERFEIT NOTE 💷

We’ve recently received counterfeit money at one of our practices and wanted to make our clients aware of what to look out for when handling cash.

🔎 Here are a few things to check:
💷 Check the hologram: Tilt the note from side to side. On a genuine £20 note, the hologram should change between the value and the £ symbol.
🔍 Look for stickers or Sellotape: These could indicate that a note has been tampered with.
👀 Check the overall appearance: Look out for anything unusual or inconsistent with a genuine note.

We’re sharing this as a reminder to stay vigilant when handling cash.

⭐️CONGRATULATIONS!⭐️
Last night saw HBF Stud with not one but 3 home bred young horses contest the Foxhunter Final at HOYS! The ever consistent Omex Star HBF finishing a fantastic 🥉

The Senior Foxhunter was first contested in 1954, and is considered the most prestigious young horse class in the UK. The class attracts more than 20,000 horse and rider combinations during the initial qualifiers 🦊.

This is an incredible achievement for Scottish Breeding and we wish them the best of luck for the rest of the show 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🐴

Congratulations also to another super consistent Scottish homebred mare Chloe Templeton 🤍 Mizzella who contests several finals this week, recently having qualified for London Horse Show U25 finals 🤩

Meet Amy, our new Equine Receptionist! 🐴

We’re delighted to welcome Amy to the Clyde Equine team!

Amy has previous experience working in an equine veterinary practice and brings plenty of hands-on experience with horses to her new role. Outside of work, she grooms for a showjumper at competitions, helping to keep the horses fit and assisting with day-to-day yard life.

When she’s not around horses, Amy enjoys getting out to car shows and spending time with her rescue dog, who she adopted from Cyprus. 🐶

We’re so pleased to have Amy on board and look forward to introducing her to our clients and their horses!

Today we’re celebrating our brilliant Equine Reception team

Our receptionists are incredibly knowledgeable and play such an important role in keeping the hospital running smoothly. From managing appointments and client queries to coordinating with our vets, nurses and wider team, they keep everything moving behind the scenes.
