🐴Insurance claims!🐴
If you’re privileged enough to have your horse or pony’s vet’s fees covered by insurance, please do ensure you inform the insurance company of any planned treatment so you don’t run the risk of invalidating your policy.
Once you’ve informed the insurance company of investigations or treatment, they will send you a claim form; part of which will be for you to complete and part for us to complete as the treating veterinary practice. We thought we’d give you a bit of an overview of the journey each form goes through before claim payment can be undertaken. Please be aware, there is a small charge levied due to the time consuming nature of this administrative process; however, you can choose to do this yourselves if you wish.
