Just the bestest girl 💗

I think Honey has been the easiest horse I've backed - which may sound crazy after the rearing video 😅

With a couple of busy weeks ahead for me, she's going to have some well deserved down time 🥰

As much as I love having a plan, it's important to go into each session with an open mind.

I was absolutely set on taking Honey out for a solo hack - despite some questioning looks from the liveries 🙈 but it quickly became apparent it wasn't going to be a confidence giving ride for Honey.

So, I headed back to the yard and made a new plan. To walk 20m circles and trot a couple of times on each rein. And Honey was pretty awesome 🥹

Not quite the relaxing ride I had planned 🙃

*Can always rely on to laugh at Honey's shapes 😅

* Please excuse my language 😳

Making the most of the stubble while we can 🏇❤️

With the ground being so hard recently, I haven't actually had an intentional canter on Honey yet (only little bursts when she's spooked at something 🙈)

But today was the day! And she felt awesome 🥹 I'm so pleased with how she's taken to ridden life - if you hadn't already noticed from my overzealous commentaries 😅

This weeks pole setup is from the using the random generator to come up with two different layouts. Both Honey and Dior smashed it 🥹
