🐾 There’s a whole world of activities to enjoy with your dog 🐾

Training is about so much more than just sit and stay — it opens the door to so many fun activities that help build confidence, strengthen your bond, and keep your dog mentally and physically fulfilled.

From agility and hoopers to mantrailing, canicross, trail hunting, scent work and beyond, there’s something out there for every dog and owner team 🐶💨

The benefits of training and activities include:
✔️ Building confidence
✔️ Improving focus and recall
✔️ Strengthening your relationship
✔️ Mental stimulation
✔️ Physical exercise
✔️ Helping dogs learn to settle and cope in different environments
✔️ Most importantly — having fun together!

We’d LOVE to hear what activities you do with your dogs.
Pop your photos in the comments and tell us what your dog enjoys most 📸🐾

So Flynn and I were on our morning walk today which took us past the Dog training hall. Flynn decided he was off to class and insisted on checking the hall!
Having looked everywhere and then checking the registration forms he realised he was a day early!!🤣🤣 Looking forward to seeing you all

📚🐾 Did someone say SCHOOL starts back tomorrow?! 🐾📚

On your marks… Get set… GO! 🎉

Classes at Cowal Dog Training Club kick off on Monday 1st June, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back — especially our brand-new puppies! 🐶❤️

All members should have received confirmation of their class times. If you haven’t, please get in touch with us.

🐾 Don’t forget to bring:
✅ Collar or harness
✅ Lead (no flexi-leads please)
✅ Plenty of small, tasty treats (the smellier, the better! 😋)
✅ A bed or mat to help your dog learn to settle

We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting all our new recruits as they begin their training journey.

🌟 Our goal? A dog you can take anywhere with confidence!

Due to rising costs for utilities and maintenance we are having to raise the cost of classes😞This is the first increase for many years and as a charity all income is reinvested in the club. So Puppy classes will now be £70 and all other classes £50. Our courses are 8 weeks and are still very reasonable.
Payment at registration is cash only, we are unable to accept card payments.

Thank you all for your continued support of our club and we look forward to seeing old and new owners on Monday.

Registration for Cowal Dog Training Club 🐾

Registration for our next block of classes will take place on Monday 25 May 2026 at 6pm to 7pm, with classes starting the following week.

At registration, we ask everyone to complete a short form about what you’re hoping to get from bringing your dog or puppy to classes. This helps us get to know a little about you and your dog before we begin, so please make sure to mention any specific requirements or areas you’d like support with.

We offer classes for puppies, adolescent dogs and more advanced dogs, with classes structured around the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme levels.

Throughout the course, we carry out ongoing assessments of your dog or puppy’s progress and work closely with you to help you get the very best from the classes.

It’s also important to recognise that not all dogs are suited to a class environment and some may find it stressful. If this is the case, we can discuss alternative options such as 1-1 sessions or smaller sessions with some of our own dogs to help build confidence in a more suitable setting.

We look forward to welcoming you and your dogs to the club!
