Sals Pals is growing, and we’re looking for new team members to join our amazing dog care team.
Positions available;
Part-Time Dog Daycare Assistant & Dog Walker
Milrig, Kirknewton
Thursdays & Fridays
15–18 hours per week
Full-Time Dog Daycare Assistant & Dog Walker
Fawnspark, Linlithgow
Monday–Friday
35+ hours per week
This role is perfect for someone who genuinely loves dogs, enjoys being active, and wants to be part of a fun, professional team dedicated to providing the very best care.
A typical day could involve:
• Supervising daycare groups
• Walking dogs in a variety of locations
• Supporting enrichment and welfare activities
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
• Working outdoors in all Scottish weather conditions
• Building positive relationships with both dogs and their owners
Essential requirements:
• Full UK driving licence
• Aged 21+
• Reliable, punctual and physically fit
• Confident handling dogs of all sizes and breeds
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous dog daycare, kennel or animal care experience is beneficial but not essential for the right person.
Please note: this role is much more than cuddling dogs. We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, professional, calm under pressure and committed to maintaining excellent welfare standards.
