VetNurse First I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has worked in small animal practice since 2015. I'm now looking to bring routine visits to the comfort of your own home.

Please note £20 call out fee minimum to cover fuel and time even if per doesn't allow treatment Please note my services do not include the diagnosis of illness, these are routine visits only. If your pet is unwell or you have any concerns, you should always take them to your veterinary surgeon.

Thanks so much everyone who keeps me busy. I'm now opening next Saturday diary 24th October as had lots of enquiries. So if your cat is needing a good de-matt or pamper send a message about next Saturday

I can still fit other appts 30th like nail clips, a**l glands, ear flushing, teeth cleaning just not cat grooms now 🐾

Beautiful Belle 😍

This girl's back had become impacted with matts.

It was a long job but we managed to remove them all without having to shave her coat.

We finished with a bath and blowdry and you can see her coat is all smooth ❣️

He is if course a Maine C**n and a HUGE boy 🤣

He was in for his bath blow-dry and paper today ❤️

He is always so well behaved however he never stands for a picture 🤣🤣

His mum sent me one though so you can all see how gorgeous this boy is standing tall ❤️❤️

Anna visited this week as her whole back area had become pelted. This is a term we use for severe matting to the skin. Instead of one huge pelt Anna's pelts were smallest but lots of them.

In this case I have two options. I pick up a 10 blade and shave them off which would be a lot easier for me or I can take the time and sit and break each pelt down.

I decided for Anna's benefit she would of much preferred to not be baldy especially as it's getting cold out 🤣

She was very good as this does take a long time to do. However I played my cat playlist and she fell asleep while I went to work.

She ended up a bit thinner on the back but not bald.

The matting had caused a lot of dry skin and that's why I can't get my head around people who will "groom" cats with no bathing option.

You can see from pictures the grease and dead skin on her coat which can only be sorted by a deep conditioning mask and bath. You can see from these pictures how much the dry skin has reduced after her wash.

Anna was so well behaved and I hope feeling a lot better after her pamper ❤️

The law requires every dog in Scotland to be microchipped however it has not been made mandatory for cats yet.

I have seen the devastation first hand when clients lose pets. I've also had to deal with cats who have passed away from road traffic accidents and they have not been chipped so I can't even call their owner to alert them.

That is why I feel so passionate about getting your cats chipped. I know in today's financial climate it can be hard enough getting a food shop let alone getting your cat chipped.

If your cat needs to be chipped but you're not in a position at the moment to get it done I will do this free of charge. You don't need to be receiving certain benefits to take advantage of this. Just let me know you need a free microchip and I will trust that. I will come to your home to do this and register them on the animal track national database.

I've groomed this handsome boy a good few times now and each time he just gets better and better ❣️ He is the sweetest!

He got a few tangles at his bum but we got them out no problem then had a bath and blow dry ❤️
