Super quick update!

I’ve called in the physicist! If you’ve been around me long enough, you know i have immense pride in my older brother being as clever as the guys working for NASA! By tomorrow, i’m hoping for amazing news!

In other news, i am now taking orders for christmas eve boxes, doggy advent calendars (can be sausage bites or fish bites), and doggy stockings! All of these will need a 25% deposit paying at the time of order!

Additionally, laser therapy, walkies and call in visits are still a go!

Happy October everyone!

I did promise an update this week - so here it is!

We are INCHING our way closer to being fully functional again - hopefully we have one more week to wait then we can resume our aquatic fun and frolics (including sausage sunday!!) but i will let you all know as soon as i do! Honestly - this moving house lark has been more stressful than most things i’ve ever done!!

Meanwhile, we do still have our laser session, dog walking and pop in visits if you’d like to take advantage of any of that, AND, we are going to be opening a little extra part of Puddleducks that i’m fondly naming “Millie’s Kitchen” (because i do not do ANYTHING in my life without linking it to my animals, and Millie is not only my oldest child these days, but she is chief taste tester for anything food related!) - natural treats and supplements in abundance to come, with some available already!

I just want to say thank you to everyone for your kind words, thoughts and love over the last week - i’m slowly getting back to myself following Joe’s sudden departure, and i really do appreciate everyone so much.

I’m also hoping to have good news this week regarding our swimming escapades! Watch this space, and keep your paws crossed!

I appreciate everyone is waiting for an update from me with regards swimming, and i promise, i’ll have one soon.

However, tonight i have to ask you to bear with me for a few days - my beautiful Joe was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy last Saturday.

Tonight he got too tired for the fight, and has gone to join Bob and Gem.

We are devastated as i’m sure you can imagine.

We’re having a few teething troubles just now - as many people know - so everything is on pause again while i get sorted (i blame Gem, she’d have hated swimming, so i’m thinking she’s on the other side stalling proceedings!)

WELCOME BACK, PUDDLEDUCKS!!!!

Open from 1pm tomorrow, just for people to come and have a look, say hello, meet the team (well. Me, anyway), get information, book in or anything else you can think of!

Bookings being taken from Wednesday, Sausage Sunday being announced this week, new things to come along as we move through the month!

While we’re in the final countdown to the big day, i’ve just got a couple of housekeeping things to tell everyone!

As people might remember, a price increase of £5 per session went into place on 1st June - that does still stand, so if you’re not sure what price you’re on, please ask me before your appointment!

Secondly, if you can’t make your booking, let me know with as much notice as possible! Any cancellations within 24 hours of your booking will be charged prior to further appointments being accepted!

Thirdly - the opening times have had a little change (mainly so i can do the admin side to life as well as the fun stuff!). These will now be:

Monday 11-4
Tuesday CLOSED
Wednesday 9-6
Thursday 9-6
Friday 8-6
Saturday 8-6
Sunday CLOSED

Halfway there with the floor!!! (Doesn’t it look lovely as well!)

We’ve had a couple of niggling things come up this week, so with that in mind, i’m pushing the opening back to the week commencing 31st August - i’ll be taking swimming booking from Wednesday 2nd September, but i am going to have a bit of a re-opening party on the Monday so people can come and have a look around, and see the new place!
