Was nice to introduce Bear the German Shepherd into a walk today. I have done some training with him so was great seeing how he would react around other dogs. He fitted in brilliant 🐶

Excellent but different training session today. I was working with Barry the St Bernard who is 4yr old and completely blind. Barry is a rescue taking on by new owner Rachel. We worked on heel, recall and reactivity. With Barry being totally blind I had to adapt different training methods focussing much more on the dogs sense of smell and hearing to make commands work and provide reassurance to get his trust and become comfortable with the surroundings/other distractions that he could not see but only sense. Still lots of work to do but progress made was brilliant and looking forward to further sessions working with Barry and Rachel

Nice training session with owner Morgan and Bear the German Shepherd. We worked on heel, reactivity and recall. Bear done great. Always start small steps not teaching to much at once, keep training sessions short to gain the dogs concentration.

Awesome first day back at the pheasant shoots. The dogs train so hard in preparation of the coming season and it’s fantastic to see their excitement to go and watching them work. They worked excellent today and will certainly sleep tonight. Great day all round spent with brilliant company . Consistency with training is key to get the best results. Enjoy the rest of your weekend all 🥃🐶

It’s been nice starting the day with an early morning walk with Spud over the past week. Nice chilled walks and of course has to begin with Spuds daily ritual with a chew at logs at his favourite spots 😀
