🐾Let’s talk tick season baby!!

As the weather warms up, ticks become much more active – and our furry friends are at higher risk when out on walks, especially in long grass or woodland areas 🌿

Ticks can carry diseases and cause discomfort for your dog, so it’s really important to stay on top of checks ✔️

✨ Top tips for keeping your pup safe:
• Check your dog thoroughly after every walk (ears, paws, underarms & around the neck)
• Avoid long, overgrown grassy areas where possible
• If you spot a tick, remove it safely or contact your vet

Due to the high temperatures this afternoon, we’ve made the decision to close early to keep all of our lovely dogs safe and comfortable 🐶

Their wellbeing always comes first, and the heat can be too much for them in a grooming environment.

We’ll be back open as normal tomorrow – thank you so much for your understanding and support!

Happy Friday everyone! With the Bank Holiday here and warmer weather on the way, it’s so important to keep our furry friends cool, safe, and comfortable 🐶

Here are a few simple tips to help your dog beat the heat:

💦 Fresh water always available – top it up regularly and keep it cool
🌳 Shade is key – make sure they’ve got a shady spot to relax
🚶‍♀️ Walk early or late – avoid hot pavements (if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!)
🧊 Cool treats – frozen snacks or ice cubes are a fun way to cool down
🛁 Paddling pools – perfect for a splash and play
🏡 Keep them indoors during peak heat – especially mid-day
