A snippet of Ernie’s groom 💙
He’s a super anxious boy when it comes to grooming but I absolutely adore him and he gives me so much love when he’s in the salon.
I have groomed him for a while now and have got to know him well, I think he will always struggle with grooming but I have learned little ways of trying to keep him as calm as possible.
I pre clip to him to make the drying time as quick as possible as this is a big trigger for him and I give him cuddle breaks and talk to him.
This does however sometimes make him move around more as he thinks his groom is finished, so I have to time these carefully.
His face is also a trigger and his patience depletes as the groom goes on so I get this done as best I can at the beginning of his groom 💙
