As a Provisional Member of the APBC, I have demonstrated that I have the appropriate level of Knowledge and Understanding for the professional role of Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB). I am now gain

ing the practical experience necessary to be assessed as a CAB and therefore become a Full Member of the APBC. The APBC supports its Provisional Members undertaking behaviour consultations. Each of these memberships not only show that I train to a high standard, but that I have been assessed on my knowledge and training methods, and am held to the code of ethics of each of these organisations (as well as my own).

My beautiful Freja - the reason behind my logo and the dog who can be very intelligent but has little to-no common sense, and the sweetest temperament 🥰

Just over 8 years of being my sidekick, helping with dogs who are dog reactive or just need a distraction to test how well their training is going.

She's getting older but is doing fantastic for her age and the breed she is.

Berry has been doing so well with her recall training (alongside the many other things we have been working on). She has had sessions with Freja a few times now and has gotten really good at coming when called, even in the middle of play.

This morning I brought my mum's Dog Benjy the Tibetan Terrier along with Freja to see how well she did at recalling away from a new, much more engaging and active dog, aswell as to teach her better social skills for introducing herself and handicapped play for a smaller dog.

Super proud of how amazing she's doing, and despite her lack of brakes when at full speed sometimes making it a bit difficult for her to stop instead of skidding to a halt into anyone, she played really well, listened to her owner and really showed signs of understanding when either of the other dogs wanted to end play and disengage.

On her Training Walk on Saturday, Berry experienced not only snow, but a full on blizzard for the first time ❄️

She was absolutely disgusted at first, but bravely soldiered on and kept up with her loose lead and observing-but-not-reacting-to-"suspicious things" training plan.

It then became clear she desperately wanted a good frolick in the snow 🥹. So, for the first time outside of a secure field, we worked on some recall (she is very easily distracted by pretty much anything that moves and when off-lead with her owner, she has a habit of turning her hunting brain on, and her listening ears off).

Berry is such a lovely, quirky little soul who has really come a very long way since we first met, when she had severe stranger danger and didn't want to come anywhere near me. She's so much more confident now!
