Hi Proviv Herpers.

It has been an incredibly busy few months here at Provivs.
Unfortunately Dave (the van (Delivers All Vivariums Everywhere) ) did the big break downs at the weekend. Despite regular servicing and replacing timing belts within the recommended times. He snapped his timing belt at 70mph on the motorway.
This resulted in being relayed by 4 breakdown trucks from service station to service station all the way home. Which took 20 hours.
The diagnosis is a replacement engine. In order to pay for this i need to sell an additional £12k of vivariums. I will need to work for free to do this and since it is additional sales i need the work will need to be done after hours and at weekends.

I am just sorting out an alternative van so deliveries are not disrupted.

Due to the hot weather again this week i have not been out delivering.
I have had a very very rare week off.
Plan is to deliver back end of next week to the south west areas. Then the week after upto to the north east, scotland and north west. Week after that i will be south and south east again.
I hope this helps give people and indication of when their deliveries will be.

Hi Proviv Herpers.

I was meant to go out delivering this week. However with the extreme heat weather warnings being published for many of the areas i was going to be delivering to. Plus the fact that my van has no air conditioning. I have decided to not risk being stuck in 35-39ºC in what is effectively a green house on wheels.

Hopefully everyone will understand.

In the same thought. Please make sure you have stats on your vivs. Turn off uv lights and if things get too warm ice packs can help with regulating temps. No uv for a few days will not kill your reptiles overheating with the inability to thermoregulate could.

What a crazy year so far!
I have had a busiest start to the year ever.
Although i have been quite ill and had to stop for quite a few days over the last 3 months. I have managed to deliver 9 van loads of products around the country.

Hi Proviv Herpers

I hope you are all well.
Last week was a huge catch up on delivering. Three van fulls of products delivered by hand on DAVE the van.
This week has started not so well. I cut and edged some products and have hit a piece of metal with the pre miller unit on the edgebander. Each stack of blades is going to cost £123+vat to be refurbished over the next 3 days. Luckily being an engineer I am able to repair and dismantle my machines myself otherwise additional costs would have been incurred.
I will be catching up on some admin work over the next three days and cleaning up the warehouse.
