I haven’t been posting much lately as life has become incredibly busy over the past year. Between studying Zoology with a focus on ornithology at university, running two businesses, and welcoming a new dog, Storm (a Belgian Malinois X Czech Shepherd), into our household, I've had my hands full with training and everything else 🐾

I’m going to try to keep up with sharing updates on Ernie and Fern, and I’m looking forward to getting back into the hobby more fully once I complete my final year of uni, which starts in September and wraps up around May 🦜☺️

Only been with me a day and he’s doing brilliant, settled in so quickly… he really seems to love my voice been talking to him and he falls asleep to the sound of my voice 🥺🥰

Meet Ernie! As many of you know I’m at uni away from home so my flock are back at home and it really just doesn’t feel right without having a budgie around. So Ernie is going to be my uni companion as it can get lonely sometimes at uni (especially in your room!) regardless if you have friends or not. He’s a yellow faced violet spangle and he’s absolutely gorgeous 🥰❤️

41 days and I’ll be reunited with my budgies ! 🥰

Went home for the weekend on Friday and took 3 of my uni friends with me, they loved my budgies ! They’re all back in the aviary now, as my dads sorted it out, they definitely seem much happier 🥰 I do have a few new faces in with them that I got over the summer (one of them is in the first photo) 😁
