Mother’s Day 🤍

Being a dog mum might not look the same as everyone else’s version of motherhood, but it’s one of the greatest blessings of my life. Every muddy paw, every cuddle on the sofa, and every little personality that’s come into my world has meant everything to me.

Thinking especially of my angel boys today — Diesel 🪽, Barry 🪽 and Frank 🪽
I was so lucky to be your mama. I’ll carry the love and memories of you with me for the rest of my life.

And to my baby girl Daiqs 🍓 — my little Tasmanian devil who stormed into my life and changed everything. From the very beginning, you’ve been my constant, my comfort and my chaos all rolled into one. I’ll forever be grateful that you’re mine.

Motherhood comes in many forms — whether your babies are biological, adopted, fostered, donor-conceived, or have four legs and fur like mine.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums out there 🤍

A few weeks ago, 2 puppies were found dumped in some local woodland 🪾💔🎄 they were very skinny, terrified … and they tested positive for Parvo 😰💔😭

Just totally heartbreaking 💔 They were taken to a vets for supportive care, and it’s a miracle that both girls made a good recovery 🎄 as soon as they tested negative for Parvo they had to be transferred to the pound’s isolation kennels for their legal 7 days as strays 😣

The pound staff asked if we could take the girls on as soon as they were ready to leave, and of course we said yes 💕 … BUT! As they still need isolation from dogs for approx 10 more days, we could NOT bring them into kennels with us 💔

So yesterday afternoon, we picked up one of the girls (the most timid of the pair) 🥹 as we had a foster home for her to move into (it’s heartbreaking how scared of the world she is, but she is soooo sweet 💕)

BUT… as the other foster home had fallen through for her sister, we had to leave her there 💔 seeing her so happy and wiggling at the sight of people thinking she was coming out, to then have to leave her there really broke our heart

So our mission is to find a special DOG FREE foster home for the girly who we had to leave behind 💕🎄💕 we just CAN’T let a puppy spend Christmas alone in an isolation kennel in the pound 😭

She is around 5 months old, around 14kg and is a bully breed mix who is super sweet, wiggly and just a puppy who wants love 💕 We HAVE to find a foster for this girl!!!

If you rely on evening or Saturday appointments, I’d definitely recommend securing those for the whole year — they book up fast! 💗
