☀️🥵 Anyone else completely over this heatwave... or is it just us?!

I honestly never thought I’d say it, but I can’t wait for those cooler days! 🥵🐶

While we’ve been making sure all our four-legged friends stay safe with earlier walks, lots of shade, enrichment and plenty of water, I think we’re all ready for a break from the heat now!

Mr Maui had a couple of visits with Tereza this week ahead of Tash’s annual leave. From Saturday until Tuesday 21st, Tereza will be helping me cover Tash’s work, and she’s so excited to be part of the team and meet lots more of your lovely dogs! 🐾💕

I also just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s messaged us recently. My inbox has been absolutely non-stop this week, and I genuinely can’t thank you enough for your continued support. It honestly feels like I’ve got dogs coming out of my ears at the moment... and I wouldn’t have it any other way! 🥹🐶

We’re looking forward to another busy week next week—hopefully with slightly cooler weather! 🤞🍃

𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 💕

What a week! 😆🫣

I genuinely think this has been one of the busiest weeks I’ve ever had! We’ve packed in lots of walks, a brilliant swimming session at Kent Canine Swim on Tuesday, and finished the week with an off-lead adventure at Logan’s Run.

Tash also wrapped up a house sit with Dexter, started one with Ralph, and will be heading to Copper and Ralph’s from Sunday. 🐾

With temperatures set to rise again next week, I’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather and will let everyone know as soon as possible if any changes need to be made to keep your pups safe. ☀️🐶

𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢…..

Tereza💕

We’re so excited to have her joining us and can’t wait for you all to meet her. She’ll be joining me starting this week and we’re absolutely delighted to have her as part of the Kirsty’s Prestige Paws family.
And here is a little bit about her…

Hi everyone, my name is Teri and I’m very excited to be joining Kirsty’s team.

I grew up on a farm, so animals have always been a huge part of my life. Ever since I was little, I never hesitated to rescue any abandoned animal I found and bring it home.

About six years ago, I welcomed my first dog — a beautiful Golden Retriever — into our family, alongside my cat Teddy. She inspired me to learn more about dogs, their behaviour, and training, which led me to qualify as a dog trainer through the IMDT program.

I then joined a local dog walking company, where I gained experience in dog walking, home boarding, pet sitting, and assisting with puppy training classes. It has honestly been one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve ever had.

I’m naturally a very caring person who loves being outdoors and spending time with animals. Alongside working with dogs, I also care for children and elderly people, which I find equally meaningful and fulfilling.
I’m really looking forward to this new journey and to meeting both you and your wonderful dogs.

𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮 💕

It’s been a tough week with these soaring temperatures. 🥵☀️

A huge shout out to all the fellow dog professionals and animal workers out there who have been doing their absolute best to keep our four-legged friends safe, comfortable, and happy in the heat. It definitely hasn’t been easy, but their welfare always comes first. 🐾

This week we’ve mostly been doing garden visits, with just one early morning walk each day before the temperatures got too high. During our garden visits we’ve been keeping everyone cool with frozen treats, doggy ice creams, and pup cups, as well as plenty of fun with the hose or paddling pool. Of course, there have also been lots of cuddles and fuss in the shade. 🧊💦🌳

We’ve also welcomed a couple of lovely new dogs this week and had a couple of meet and greets too, which is always exciting! 🐶💕

We’re heading into a jam-packed weekend of work, including house sits with Copper, Ralph and Dexter, so it’s going to be another busy one! Then it’s straight into another full week next week—and we honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

Thank you to all of our amazing clients for trusting us with your wonderful dogs and for keeping us so busy. We appreciate every single one of you and can’t wait to spend another week making memories with your pups! 🐾💕

𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙁𝙚𝙩𝙚 💕🐾

Wow, what a fantastic day! ☀️🐾

One of the highlights of the day was seeing some of my old primary school teachers from Mereworth School. It was such a full-circle moment! Going from starting my journey at the school as a child to attending the very same village fete with my own business is honestly crazy to think about. 💕✨

Lots of people stopped by my stall and picked up goodies to take home for their dogs to enjoy, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who bought something and supported my small local business.

Your support truly means the world. 💕

I also handed out lots of leaflets and business cards, so I’m really looking forward to hopefully welcoming some new faces to the pack in the near future! 🐶🐾
A huge thank you to the organisers as well—it was a fantastic event and very well run.

A very special thank you goes to my dad, who has attended every single event, transported my gazebo (which is far too big to fit in the van!), helped set up and pack away, and stayed for the entire event every time. I honestly couldn’t do it without him.

Thank you as well to all my family and friends who have come along to help or simply to support me—it truly means so much. ☺️

And finally, a huge thank you to Wellsies Pet Treats for making the dog treats. They have gone down so well at every event, and everyone absolutely loves them. Thank you so much for your continued support! 🐾🍪

That’s it for events for now until my very own event in September, which I’ll be hosting in Leybourne Chase! Details to follow in the next few days🦮✨
