Our first week back after the summer holidays and it's been lovely to introduce the rest of the squad to the unit and life at Eglinton π
We have had a real mix of long walks, short walks, slow walks, playful silly walks and every walk has had it's fair share of sniffing. There's also been hanging out with their friends in the unit from playing to snuggling.
Getting out exploring the park is a huge part of the dogs day now (and ours) and rather than sticking to the same combinations we encourage the guys to come out in different groups. We take in to consideration what each of the dogs like to do on a walk whether that's a slow and steady pace, examining each little corner, a longer, faster paced walk, a solo explore or perhaps they need to build some confidence and no two days are the same.
By taking this approach we are seeing new friendships between dogs that might not have taken much notice of each other and there is always the option for each of them to have some downtime in the VIP Suite when they want to relax away from the days group.
Here are some of the Adventurers enjoying the mostly sunny days πΎππ₯Ύ
