🦷🦷Ruby pearly whites after a trip to Diane Taylor in Kilmarnock for Emmi brushing. Its so important to keep on top of your dogs teeth. Dental care starts at home 🏠. I recommend Dorwest Roast Dinner paste little goes a long way. I apply with a soft baby brush. If your dog has bad breath please act! if left , rotten teeth with tartar and plaque build up can lead to infections in the gums which can get into their bloodstream. Some dogs have worse teeth than others. Emmi brushing works for dogs with mild plaque and who can tolerate brushing. The only way you'll know is by brushing regularly at home. Dogs with bad breath and inflamed gums and rotten teeth will need a dental at the vets as its the only way for them to get a deep clean. Sometimes once the initial dental is done its easier to keep on top of at home.
Please dont wait till its too late. Sighthounds are more prone to dental disease due to their long narrow jaws. The best time to brush is when they are lying calm in their beds.
Thanks Robyn 🦷

The harsh reality that goes on in our society. Both of these soles suffered neglect for nearly the first three years of their lives. Well not anymore! They have been receiving the TLC that they badly needed. It has been a slow process they where both serverly underweight and Pamela has been busy sorting out a suitable diet to help get weight on them. Both have been neutered and vaccinate, nails clipped and bathed. They are learning to trust humans again and learn we are not all evil. After all they have been through, they still seek human attention. They have the most loving personalities and it has been amazing seeing them coming out of their shells. We have been increasing their walks as their fitness and weight improves.
Well today was a first for them. I took them to the dog run. Both happily explored the field taking in a the smells. Dawn (brindle)is the more confident out the 2 of them. She had a run about. Ash (black) prefers to be close by and seeks reassurance. If i sit down he is straight on my knee for a cuddle and a kiss. Then we went to visit my aunt and uncle both where happy to get a treat or two.😋
We feel due to their history that both would be better rehomed as only dogs. Enabling them to build close relationships with new owners and get the attention they deserve. Both will require ongoing training from a sighthound experienced home. They know basic commands. We will all be broken hearted when they are rehomed but it is for the best. As much as they are being cared for to a high standards in the kennels it is not a permanent option. They need a family to shower them with love and a couch to cozy up on.
We have a large following and ask to please share and help find their forever home.🙏 Please only contact with genuine enquiries. All potential homes will be vetted. Thanks Robyn 🐾

🐾 Meet Ash – A Gentle Soul Looking for Safety & Love 🤍
Ash is a small lurcher, nearly 3 years old, with the softest heart you could imagine.
He’s the quieter type, preferring calm moments and close company. Ash is still learning how to be a dog again after coming from a life of neglect, and he needs someone patient and kind to help him continue that journey. He’s discovering that not all humans are bad—and with the right person, he’s really starting to come out of his shell.
What makes Ash special: ✨ Extremely affectionate – he loves kisses
✨ A real cuddle bug – happiest curled up on your knee
✨ Gentle, sensitive, and eager to bond with his person
Ash will need: 🐾 A home as an only dog
🐾 Someone who can offer reassurance, patience, and ongoing training
🐾 A calm, loving environment where he can feel safe and secure
He may be a little unsure at first, but once he trusts you, you’ll have the most loyal and loving companion by your side. Watching Ash learn, grow, and finally feel safe will be incredibly rewarding.
If you think you could be the one to give Ash the second chance he deserves, please get in touch. 💫🐶 Robyn
