🐾 SEPTEMBER UPDATE 🐾

Just a wee reminder/update for everyone with a few important dates coming up as we get closer to the wedding! 💍🥂

🍻 BEN’S STAG HOLIDAY
Ben will be away on his stag holiday from Thursday 17th September and will return to work on Wednesday 23rd September.

Any dogs that are normally collected/walked by Ben will be OFF during this time.

🐶 MEGAN & ERIN’S RUNS
Megan and Erin’s runs will continue as normal while Ben is away.

However, both Megan and Erin will also be off on Thursday 17th September as we have an appointment for the wedding.

❗ This means NO services will be running at all on Thursday 17th September.

If anyone is unsure which run their dog is on or whether they’re affected, please just drop us a message and we’ll let you know. 🐾

And finally, we just want to say a massive thank you to everyone for all your support and understanding, especially during the build-up to the wedding. 💍❤️

We really do appreciate you all! 🐶🐾

🐾 A little update from Megan 🐾

As some of you know, I’m currently on the lead-up to my wedding 💍🤍 and over the next little while I’m going to have a few appointments that I need to attend.

Unfortunately, I can’t always get these appointments at weekends, so there will be the odd weekday where I won’t be available for services. I’ll always try to give everyone as much notice as I possibly can, and I’m really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

At the moment, I have two dates that I know I’ll be off:

📅 Thursday 17th September — Megan & Erin will both be off, so there will be no services from either of us on this day.
📅 Friday 2nd October — Megan will be off, so there will be no services from Megan on this day.

Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding while I get everything organised for the big day! 🥰💍🐶 I really appreciate it. 🤍

Sorry for the lack of pictures and videos on our story this week ,it’s been absolutely mental with all the new applications coming in, and the weather has caused us a bit of bother too!

However, we still managed to get loads of lovely snaps in the sunshine, and we actually think we may have gotten almost everyone for a change although will have to

Erin has also been driving on her own for a while now, and we’re so proud of how far she has come. We’ve loved hearing all the positive things everyone has had to say about her over the past month or so.We truly have a gem! 💎💙

🐾 COULD WORKING WITH DOGS BE YOUR NEXT CHAPTER? 🐾

We’re looking for two very special people to join Nature Tails and help us take the next step with our growing business! 💙

We’re looking towards early 2027 and have two exciting self-employed opportunities available:

🏠 HOME BOARDING
Welcome our regular Nature Tails dogs into your own home while their families are away.

🐶 IN-HOME PET SITTING
Stay in our clients’ homes and care for their dogs in their own familiar surroundings.

These aren’t occasional side jobs. We’re looking for people who want to make working with dogs their main job, with regular, consistent work and earning potential throughout the year.

💰 THE DEMAND IS ALREADY THERE

This isn’t an opportunity where you’ll be expected to start from scratch and slowly build up your own client base.

Nature Tails Home Boarding is regularly fully booked throughout the year, and during peak periods we’re constantly receiving requests for additional bookings that we simply don’t have the capacity to accommodate.

That’s one of the reasons we’re looking for two people rather than one.

The clients are already there.
The demand is already there.
The bookings are already coming in.

Nature Tails will continue to manage the bookings and provide the clients, allowing you to concentrate on what you’re actually joining us to do – look after the dogs. 🐾

For the right people, there will also be opportunities to become involved with Nature Tails Dog Walking, creating the potential for additional regular work and earnings alongside boarding or pet sitting.

We think this could work particularly well for our Pet Sitter – dog walking during the day and pet sitting overnight could develop into a fantastic full-time opportunity for someone who genuinely wants to build their working life around dogs.

🐾 No need to advertise or find your own clients
🐾 Potential for additional work through Dog Walking

🏠 INTERESTED IN HOME BOARDING?

You’ll need to be based in Kilmarnock, have a suitable home with a secure garden and be willing to obtain the appropriate Home Boarding Licence.

You don’t need to already have a licence. We’ll help and support the successful person throughout the licensing process.

We’re initially looking for a household with no children, cats or resident dogs, although we would consider an exceptional candidate whose circumstances we believe could work safely.

🐶 INTERESTED IN PET SITTING?

You’ll need to be comfortable staying overnight in our clients’ homes, sometimes for several nights at a time, and being trusted with their dogs, homes and belongings.

This could be an especially exciting opportunity for someone who wants to earn their living working with dogs but doesn’t have the circumstances required to provide Home Boarding themselves.

❤️ WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Professional dog experience would be great – but it’s not essential.

We’re much more interested in finding someone who is:

🐾 Completely dog obsessed
🐾 Reliable and trustworthy
🐾 Confident with dogs of all breeds, sizes and strengths
🐾 Flexible around weekends and busy holiday periods
🐾 A full UK driving licence holder
🐾 Looking for something long-term
🐾 And, most importantly, someone who shares the Nature Tails attitude towards dogs

You’ll work closely alongside Ben & Megan initially, with introductions, shadowing and trial days/nights before taking bookings independently.

We’re not looking to fill these positions as quickly as possible.

We’re looking for the RIGHT people.

People we’d happily trust with our own Ralph & Lola and who could become a genuine part of Nature Tails for years to come. 💙
