Signs of overheating can include excessive panting, heavy drooling, red gums, weakness, wobbling, vomiting or collapse.

Cockapoo coats can be misleading.
They often start off soft and fluffy, but as they mature the coat becomes thicker, curlier, and much more prone to knotting and matting.
Because of this, leaving longer gaps between grooms can make brushing uncomfortable and grooming more time-consuming for your dog, even if they seem fine at home.
If you’re unsure how often your Cockapoo should be groomed, I’m always happy to chat and help you find a routine that works for your dog just drop me a DM.

When your dog arrives, we’re not just looking at their coat. We’re watching how they move, how they respond to the space, and how comfortable they seem in that moment.
Small signals tell us a LOT about your pup. Tension, hesitation, or avoidance can mean a dog needs a slower start, while relaxed movements and curiosity usually show they feel safe and familiar.
This means we can adjust our handling, pace, and approach so each groom suits the dog in front of us. Because a good groom isn’t just about how your dog looks when they leave. It’s about how they feel throughout the experience.

Last Friday, I had the pleasure of spending the day at Mojo’s Poodle Club for a 1-to-1 Poodle grooming training session. ❤️🐩

It was a fantastic day filled with learning, advice, and inspiration. Freddie and Pippa were wonderful models, and I was especially pleased with Freddie’s final groom. ☺️

A huge thank you for such a warm welcome and for sharing so much knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! 🫶
