WHAT. A. F**KING. WEEK. 😂
24+ dogs a day.
Every. Friggin . Day. 🐶
Lost my keys. 🔑
Got stuck behind tractors doing approximately 3mph. 🚜
Encountered enough bin lorries to start questioning whether I was actually a dog walker or secretly working for Wyre Forest Council. 🚛
Random road closures appearing out of fu***ng nowhere. 🚧
And every journey somehow taking approximately three business days.
I’ve done so many walks a day, I’ve given Ace.Walks a run for his money 🫠
Then there were the lovely clients asking, “Are you okay?”
My response?
The glare 👀 Whilst Running back to the van and driving away. 🤣
By about Wednesday I was mentally swapping dogs for w**e. 🍷
Thankfully, Buddy’s mum clearly sensed the desperation and handed me a bottle when I dropped Buddy home on Thursday
Absolute legend. 😂👏🍷
Then came a much-needed massage at Glisten & Glow 𝕄𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕒𝕘𝕖 | 𝔽𝕒𝕔𝕚𝕒𝕝𝕤 | 𝔼𝕪𝕖𝕓𝕣𝕠𝕨 𝕃𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 , because after a week of 100+ dogs, driving, walking, lifting, wrestling with leads and generally running around like a fu***ng lunatic… my body had officially filed a formal complaint. 😂💆♀️
And somehow…
WE SURVIVED. 🙌
But honestly, underneath all the moaning… thank you. ❤️
Because every single one of you is the reason I’m this busy.
I once genuinely dreamt of having a life this full of dogs - building a business around something I love and being trusted with so many of your gorgeous four-legged idiots. 🐶❤️
I just apparently forgot to include the back ache, lost keys, tractors, bin lorries, road closures and questionable driving-related rage in the dream. 😂
So thank you for keeping me ridiculously busy, for checking I’m still alive when I sprint past you back to the van, and for trusting me with your dogs.
It really is pretty special. 🥹🐾
MASSIVE Thanks to the team who have picked up extra this week, couldn’t have done it without you- as was seen on Tuesday & Thursday 🫠🤭
And the BEST bit?
ROB IS BACK TOMORROW. 🎉
The workload gets shared.
My sanity gets partially restored.
My back might survive another week.
Normality resumes.
