Everybody welcome beautiful Zeva 🤩

Turned away from several groomers just purely down to her breed but, fortunately her mum found me and I’m so glad she did!! 🥺

Let’s just say she was a typical Akita on my first visit protective, stubborn and, side eyed me out of the door… Can’t blame her to be honest I did arrive with the nail clippers in hand 😂

Fast forward to her second visit where she approached me, sat beside and in front of me, accepted treats and, enjoyed some belly scratches while starting to nod off. 🤭

It’s little moments like this that remind me why I continue to work the way I do, so so proud of her progress already x

Due to the heat I am rescheduling all grooms after 10am again until the weather drops next week, it’s looking like friday before we’re below 27 degrees. 🥵

Between health conditions, car ride here/back, age, breed and, a million other things that put your dogs at risk of heatstroke… I’d rather let them relax safely at home ❤️‍🩹

The weather is massively concerning me even with air con it’s just not manageable for either of us. 🥺

Thank you to everybody I’ve messaged so far for understanding I am beyond lucky to have such amazing clients, You truly are the best and I appreciate every single one of you!! 🫶

As always he came in for a bath, deshed and, a little shaping with scissors ✂️

I’ve had the privilege of grooming him for 4 years he loves nothing more than laying down sleeping the day away, he is the most gentle boy.

The hardest part is lifting him in and out of the bath because apparently he is a king and steps are for peasants? 😅

Due to the temperature forecast there will be multiple occasions when appointments will need to be moved simply because it’s too hot for them! ☀️

I will never put a dog at risk of heatstroke and in my 7 years of being open I’ve always stood by cancelling and putting your dogs first which I will always do… heatstroke is no joke! 🫶

I’ll be going off my diary day by day pretty much as I’m doing now, I will let you all know atleast a few hours before and try my best to give you more notice where possible. 🥰

Most of my regulars will know by now that this is something I’ve been doing for a while but, to those who don’t..

Once a week I offer this service whether your dog is car sick, you don’t have transport, your dog is nervous/anxious or, you just feel uneasy leaving your dog with somebody.

This comes with an extra cost to cover fuel which will be calculated and added onto price of groom 🚗 💰

Typical spaniel he absolutely hates being clean and will give you the biggest puppy dog eyes ever when it’s bath time 🙈🥹

We do lots of work using his nose with scent work and enrichment while being dried as he’s recently found having his ears dried a little difficult.

Lucky for me he’s very food motivated and doesn’t give a toss once it’s involved 😂🤷🏼‍♀️
