A little surprise package arrived for us yesterday from Bella+Duke and we’re absolutely loving it!! 🤭

I spoke with the lovely Bella+Duke team at pats over the weekend and expressed how much Joy had enjoyed their food the past few months, as a lot of you know it was so hard trying to find anything she’d stick to! 😩

They scanned my little business badge which came up with all my details and I walked away thinking nothing of it, As a small business myself I just like to tell businesses when they’re doing things right. ✅

Thank you so much for food I don’t have to worry about what’s inside, single source protein options, our little box of goodies and, great customer service ❤️

What can I say? Pet & Aquatics Trade Show has been a blast! Gutted I had to come home last night but, so glad I booked it. 🚕

My first solo trip staying somewhere completely new and pushing myself out of my comfort zone because, as you all know I like to constantly be learning something especially if it’s going to benefit the dogs and my business. 📚

Day one was filled with speaking and arranging trade accounts, free samples and, catching up with some of my friends in the industry! 📝

Day two? I’m sitting watching live groom demonstrations, restocking any products I needed, asking questions and gaining education/knowledge at the Clipit Grooming hub from some amazing groomers. ✂️

I was kindly gifted a spray from Shining Pet UK by one of them after just simply asking what she had used on the model dog, how fluffin sweet!! 🫶

Overall I’ve had the most amazing time also, wearing my land yard and scrunchie handmade by Eb's Stitches.

Everybody welcome beautiful Zeva 🤩

Turned away from several groomers just purely down to her breed but, fortunately her mum found me and I’m so glad she did!! 🥺

Let’s just say she was a typical Akita on my first visit protective, stubborn and, side eyed me out of the door… Can’t blame her to be honest I did arrive with the nail clippers in hand 😂

Fast forward to her second visit where she approached me, sat beside and in front of me, accepted treats and, enjoyed some belly scratches while starting to nod off. 🤭

It’s little moments like this that remind me why I continue to work the way I do, so so proud of her progress already x

Due to the heat I am rescheduling all grooms after 10am again until the weather drops next week, it’s looking like friday before we’re below 27 degrees. 🥵

Between health conditions, car ride here/back, age, breed and, a million other things that put your dogs at risk of heatstroke… I’d rather let them relax safely at home ❤️‍🩹

The weather is massively concerning me even with air con it’s just not manageable for either of us. 🥺

Thank you to everybody I’ve messaged so far for understanding I am beyond lucky to have such amazing clients, You truly are the best and I appreciate every single one of you!! 🫶
