Emma specialises in group walks (maximum 4 at a time), daycare, home visits and Home Boarding. In 2015 we were granted our Home Boarding Licence by East Northamptonshire Council who were bowled over by the high standards across the business as a whole and praised Emma for her thorough and forward thinking when it comes to animal care. Our Home Boarding service is immensely popular and gets booked up for the summer very early on in the year.

Well who rain danced a little too hard?!

I’ve had to put trousers AND boots on… spare a thought for your dog walker today, we are doing our best!

Apologies to anyone who has seen me running this morning to grab dogs, I know it was ghastly and therapy sessions will be available to book in the app 😉

Anyone else hear thunder?!

I’ll be packing some towels, but please do leave a towel out for your dog 🐶

Summer ended a bit abruptly, I would have preferred a slow delivery of autumn but apparently now that the school holidays are almost over, it’s time for the advent calendars to appear and for dog walkers to have to change their whole wardrobe… again! 🤣

Happy National Dog Day!!

I couldn’t just pick one picture of my dog so I thought I’d share a selection!!

And yes I count them all as mine! I spoil each and every one as if they were my own and then send them back home 🤣

I take Auntie duties VERY seriously!!

It rained today!

I’ll now be doing the ‘what footwear do I put on?’ questioning each and every day 🙄

Was so refreshing just to have some moisture, the dogs loved it, even though it was starting to get a bit humid by the time we got back!

It’s a very sad day here, our beloved Spendog has gone over Rainbow Bridge to run free.

Spencer was one of my OG’s when I started working in the Corby area and I still remember day one as if it was yesterday.., he refused to get in the van and tried to crawl underneath it! Safe to say a few days later he realised that getting in the van meant going on some wild adventures with his new mates!!

Ditch diving and running through as much water as possible were high on his priority list and he had so much love for everyone he met.

Not much leaves me speechless but receiving the call from his owner today has floored me.

I hope you’ll join me in sending lots of love to his owners and his ‘sister’ Gertie.

He will most definitely be missed

The van is fixed!!

HURRAH!!

Back to normal tomorrow for walks!! And yes that does mean the mobile disco/karaoke is back! 🤣😁

Quick lil reminder…

Van being sorted this afternoon, and this time they are doing the odd jobs as well as the intercooler pipe thingy… this isn’t going to be cheap!

Do everyone is getting picked up early and heading to the paddock! My treat!

And fingers crossed that we are back in the big van tomorrow 🤞🏻I miss all my little comforts 🤣

** Van update **

Been and had it checked over… hose needs replacing, something to do with the inter cooler.

So it will be going in on Tuesday 25th to be done.

I do have Bens van to use until it’s sorted (he can’t physically drive at the moment anyway) so back to group walks tomorrow!

Thanks everyone who let me do solos today, confused the dogs but everyone has been walked and sorted that needed going.

🐾 A QUICK REMINDER FOR TOMORROW — WEDNESDAY 19TH AUGUST 🐾

Tomorrow morning my van is booked in at 9am to have an issue looked at (and while it’s there, I’m going to get them to sort my rear brakes too!).

The original master plan was that Ben would follow me over to Corby and I’d jump straight into his van and carry on working as normal — just as I have today and yesterday.

BUT… 🙈

The silly sod dropped a bottle of beer on his bare foot on Saturday and managed to slash it so badly that he currently can’t even get a shoe on! 🤦🏼‍♀️🍺🩹 So I certainly can’t ask him to drive me around!

Soooo… in true Em style, we adapt, work with what’s in front of us and crack on! 💪🏼🐾

I’m going to stay with the van while they investigate so I can find out exactly what the problem is. I’m really hoping it’s something nice and simple — like a hose that’s come loose and just needs reconnecting. 🤞🏼

The hope is that I’ll get to all my doggies with very little disruption, perhaps around an hour later than usual. 🐶❤️

However, if they discover something more complicated and I’m going to be stuck there without a vehicle for much longer, I may unfortunately have to reassess the day and potentially cancel some walks/visits.

I know that wouldn’t be ideal, especially at such short notice, and if I do have to cancel, I absolutely wouldn’t dream of charging you.

I’ll keep everyone updated as soon as I know what’s happening.

Hopefully it’ll be a quick fix and I’ll be back on the road causing chaos with my four-legged gang before you know it! 😂🐕🐾

I’ll try my absolute best — promise!! ❤️

A friendly but important reminder for all customers:

Please do not open any doors or attempt to enter our home unless I have specifically invited you to do so.

This morning, a customer collecting their dog opened the side door without being asked. Fortunately, I had already placed the dogs safely in the garden “airlock” while moving equipment between vans. However, had they been elsewhere, this could have resulted in a very serious situation.

The dogs in my care may be of any age, size, breed or temperament. Some may be fearful of unfamiliar people entering the house, while others may be exceptionally quick and capable of running through someone’s legs and out onto the road. They could become injured, escape, or react defensively towards you or me.

I know the dogs in my care, and it is my responsibility to keep them safe and to protect everyone from harm. While it may seem harmless to open the door, make faces at the dogs through the window or wind them up while waiting, it can create unnecessary excitement and risk during handovers.

Please allow me a few moments to move the dogs away from the kitchen door when you ring the bell. I will open the door as soon as it is safe to do so.

I take great pride in ensuring that all handovers are safe, secure and as calm as possible, and I ask that you please do your part by waiting outside and allowing me to manage the situation.

For everyone’s safety, the side door will now remain locked at all times, and I may also need to block the window when necessary.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
