Today I visited Jax 🐶

An important part of my role as a mobile veterinary nurse is providing the care I can within my remit and the law while recognising when something needs veterinary attention. 🩺❤️

Jax was booked in for ear cleaning, claw clipping and a**l gland expression. He was an absolute superstar for his ear cleaning! 🥰

However, during the visit I found that one of his dew claws had grown into his paw pad, and one of his a**l glands was blocked. Rather than continuing to clip and squeeze, these required veterinary treatment due to a wound and possible infection involvement. I referred Jax to the vet for further care and I’ll be seeing him again for routine maintenance care once he’s been given the all clear. ❤️

His mum did the right thing for getting me in And clearly loves him very much 🥰

Ron was handed in by his family who had become over-run with rabbits. He is looking for a home with a gentle wifebun. They will need 5* accommodation with plenty of space to hop, kick and binky, with enrichment areas and toys to keep them busy. 🥬🐇
