🖤 HARRY & MILLIE 🖤

Handsome Harry may only have three legs, but he manages life brilliantly! He needs a little extra care during grooming, particularly getting in and out of the bath and during nail trimming, where weight distribution, balance and support are so important.

Mills is a very tactile, sensitive soul with a flair for the dramatics 🤣 Everything must be handled with the utmost delicacy, preferably with plenty of reassurance and always about her.

Greyhounds may have short, sleek coats, but they still shed a lot and benefit from a good deshed and pamper.

Two gorgeous dogs, two very different personalities and a grooming approach tailored to each🖤

Bulldogs are particularly prone to moisture, dirt and bacteria becoming trapped in their facial folds, especially around the nose.

When left damp, these warm little creases can become a breeding ground for irritation, unpleasant smells and painful skin fold infections.

Rosie is a beautiful Mioritic Shepherd who finds the whole grooming process pretty daunting, so with her it’s never about rushing to get the job done, it’s about building trust.

And visit by visit, we’re getting there. 💪

Each time she comes through the door she’s a little braver, allows me to do a little more and is starting to realise that nothing bad is going to happen here.

For nervous dogs, progress isn’t always measured by the perfect groom. Sometimes it’s simply standing for a bit longer, accepting the brush somewhere they wouldn’t before, or choosing to trust me when every instinct is telling them not to.
