A giant Pyrenean Mountain Dog with an equally giant heart! 🥰

This young lad arrived in need of a serious deshed and coat reset. His dense undercoat had become trapped, so the mission was to release all that dead coat and get everything moving freely again.

Double coats are incredible when they’re working properly — providing insulation and protection in both warm and cold weather. But when dead undercoat isn’t removed regularly, it can become compacted, restrict airflow, trap moisture and debris against the skin, contribute to matting and irritation, and prevent the coat from functioning as it should.

After a mammoth deshed, Lennon’s coat can breathe again and he can get back into his natural shedding cycle — letting that magnificent coat do the job it was designed to do. 💪🐾

And Lennon? An absolute gentleman throughout… although apparently payment was required in the form of a full facial wash. 👅🤣

Maintain the coat, don’t wait for the compaction. Prevention is always easier than the rescue job! 🤍
