Please hug your animals and little tighter today, spend an extra 20mins playing, loving and just being with them, as today a close family wakes up to an empty house, bed not slept in, no demand barking, no being barged out the way, no fur on thier clothes.
Big Albert developed a limp 12 days ago, owners did everything right, rest, short exercise, and he did improve, but the limp was still there. On Monday we assisted in taking the big baby to see the vets, Tuesday he had xrays and it was confirmed he had advanced bone cancer. The shock of this news is still unbelievable π³. Yesterday myself and a a friend, escorted almost all the family on big boys last journey, he crossed the rainbow bridge just before 7pm last night in the loving arms of his family.
Alert was just 6yrs old and truly a gentle giant.
Our thoughts and condolences are with all his family.
Rest easy big boy, we will look after your humans for now ###xx
