Graduation Day for Clover! 🎓🐾

After completing all four sessions of my Puppy Package, lovely Clover has officially graduated!

Across her visits, Clover has had the opportunity to experience different parts of the grooming process gradually, from getting used to the salon and equipment to being handled and spending time on the grooming table.

Taking things step by step gives puppies the chance to learn that grooming can be a calm and positive experience, without expecting too much from them too soon.

It’s been so rewarding watching Clover become more familiar and comfortable with each session, and she now has some great foundations in place for her future grooms. 💙

Curly coats need a little extra maintenance at this time of year! 🍂

Ted recently joined me in the salon for his regular groom, taking his gorgeous curls back to a shorter, more manageable length while keeping his face soft and full of character.

For curly coats like Ted’s, regular appointments are especially important as we head into the colder months, helping to keep on top of knots and tangles and making brushing at home much easier between grooms.

Noticed a little more fur around the house lately? You’re not alone! 🐾

As autumn progresses, many dogs naturally start shedding their lighter summer coat to make way for a thicker winter one. For some dogs, particularly those with double coats, that can mean a noticeable increase in loose fur.

While seasonal shedding is perfectly normal, regular coat care can make it much easier to manage. Brushing at home with the right tools, alongside professional grooming, helps remove loose coat and keeps your dog’s skin and fur in good condition.

Graduation Day for Crumpet! 🎓🐾

After completing all four sessions of my Puppy Package, lovely Crumpet has officially graduated!

Over the course of his sessions, Crumpet has been gradually introduced to the salon, grooming equipment, different sounds and handling, giving him the chance to build confidence and become familiar with the grooming process at his own pace.

And of course, no graduation would be complete without a certificate and a little box of goodies to celebrate! 💙

A fresh trim for beautiful Bertie. 🐾

Bertie is a regular in my salon, so his grooms aren’t about dramatic transformations. They’re about taking his coat back to a neat, manageable length while keeping that lovely character in his face.

Keeping on top of grooming also makes coat care between appointments much easier, helping to prevent knots and tangles before they have a chance to become uncomfortable.

Whether it’s a quick nail trim or a full groom, every dog deserves the same patience, care and attention. 💙

With only one dog in the salon at a time, I always take the time to get to know them, let them settle and work at a pace that suits them.

Some dogs are naturally confident, while others might be wriggly, excitable or need a little extra reassurance. I adapt each appointment to the dog in front of me, helping to make their experience as calm and comfortable as possible.
