💜🐾 Snuggle Paws is available in the salon 🐾💜

My beautiful Snuggle Paws Silk & Shine Soothing Mist is available to buy in the salon, but supplies are very limited.

Created especially for Love to Paws, it leaves your dog’s coat beautifully soft, shiny and delicately scented — perfect for helping them smell gorgeous between grooming appointments.

And dare I mention Christmas again? If you are starting to think ahead to stocking fillers or a lovely little present for your dog, Snuggle Paws would make such a special gift. It is something they can enjoy over Christmas and continue using well into the new year, rather than another toy that may be forgotten by Boxing Day!

VIP members also receive 10% off salon purchases, including Snuggle Paws.

I am so proud of this product and absolutely love seeing bottles leave the salon with my wonderful customers. Please speak to me during your appointment if you would like one put aside before they are gone. 💜🐾

🐾💜 Thursday's Gorgeous Grooming Gang at Love to Paws! 💜🐾

What a fabulous Thursday to round off another lovely week in the salon! 🐶✨

First up were the gorgeous Bertie and Luna, both enjoying their full grooms and a little extra pampering with their spa treatments. Two beautiful pups leaving fresh, fluffy and looking fabulous! 🫧💜

Next was the beautiful Poppy, who joined me for her full groom and an Emmi-Pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning trial. And what an absolute superstar she was! 🌟🦷 Such a clever girl, taking everything in her stride!

And last, but certainly not least, was the wonderful Cassie, back for her regular full groom. What an amazing girl she is! 💜 It never ceases to amaze me how much the colour of her beautiful coat changes with every visit. There's always something a little different to admire! 🐾

Four gorgeous dogs, lots of pampering, plenty of cuddles and a truly lovely way to finish the grooming week. 🥰

A huge thank you to their wonderful owners for trusting me with their precious pups. It's always such a pleasure welcoming them into my little salon.

That's another week wrapped up at Love to Paws!

Wishing everyone a wonderful, relaxing weekend, filled with happy paws and plenty of cuddles! 🐶💜🐾

🦷🐾 Looking after your dog’s teeth 🐾🦷

Dental care is not something that works particularly well as a one-off. While a single Emmi-Pet session may help begin the process, the real benefit comes from regular maintenance and keeping your dog on a consistent schedule.

Emmi-Pet teeth cleaning can help reduce the build-up of plaque and tartar, support healthier gums and keep your dog’s mouth feeling fresher. Most importantly, ongoing care may help prevent smaller issues from developing into more uncomfortable and costly dental problems later on.

Every dog is different, so the number and frequency of sessions will depend on the condition of their teeth and how quickly build-up returns. Once the initial cleaning programme is complete, maintenance appointments are important to help preserve the results.

It is only one part of looking after your dog’s dental health and does not replace veterinary treatment, particularly where teeth are loose, gums are sore or more advanced dental disease is present.

Looking after their teeth regularly is another small but incredibly important way we can help keep our dogs happy, comfortable and healthy for longer. 💜🐾

🐱💜 "But my cat doesn't look like they need grooming..."

Meet beautiful Lulu, and let me show you why appearances can be deceiving! 🐾

Back in July, Lulu visited Love to Paws for a lion trim. Her coat had become knotty and matted, and she was struggling to manage it herself.

After previous veterinary care, she needed a fresh start. Lulu was an absolute angel and went home feeling much more comfortable. 💜

Her mum wisely booked a maintenance groom for two months later to help prevent those uncomfortable knots returning.

Fast forward to today...

Lulu's coat has grown back beautifully, and her mum admitted she didn't think there would be much fluff to remove.

But just LOOK at that pile of fur! 😲🐾

All that loose coat removed during one maintenance groom, just two months after her lion trim!

And the loveliest part? 💜

Lulu's mum says she's noticed such a difference. Lulu is much more comfortable, she's experiencing fewer hairballs, and keeping on top of her coat has made a real difference.

She's already booked her next appointment in another two months! 🐱

💜 Why am I sharing Lulu's story?

Because what we see on the surface doesn't always tell the whole story.

Cats can have incredibly dense coats, with loose undercoat building up beneath the surface, even when they look beautifully fluffy.

By the time knots and matting become obvious, a cat may already be uncomfortable, making grooming much more challenging.

🐾 Regular grooming can help remove loose undercoat, reduce matting, support coat comfort and reduce the amount of fur swallowed during self-grooming.

Lulu is a wonderful example of the difference ongoing care can make.

You don't have to wait until your cat is matted or uncomfortable to seek professional grooming support.

Sometimes, prevention really is the kindest approach. 💜

If you're unsure whether your cat would benefit from regular grooming, please get in touch. I'm always happy to help!

🐱💜 A lovely Wednesday spent with some gorgeous feline friends at Love to Paws!

It's been another lovely cat grooming clinic, with some beautiful feline visitors enjoying a little TLC. 🐾

First up was the beautiful Lulu, who came in for a thorough de-shed and freshen-up after having her lion trim a few months ago. It's amazing how much her coat has grown back, and it's looking absolutely beautiful! 💜

And then there was the lovely Merlin, joining me for his very first visit. What an absolute joy he was, and hopefully the first of many visits! 💜

Two gorgeous cats, two very different personalities, and lots of lovely fluff!

🐾💜 A little reminder about my cat grooming clinics...

These dedicated clinic days are something I absolutely love offering, and appointments are always limited to ensure every cat receives the time, patience and individual care they deserve.

Although Love to Paws is a small, independent business run by me, cat grooming days also require an additional pair of experienced hands to ensure every cat is handled safely, calmly and with the support they need.

When an appointment is booked, that time is reserved especially for your cat. Once my clinic is full, I may have to turn other customers away.

I completely appreciate that circumstances can change and sometimes appointments need to be rearranged. However, my cancellation policy is there for a reason. It protects my time, my business and the additional costs involved in running these specialist clinic days.

My terms and conditions are clearly provided when booking, and I kindly ask that everyone takes the time to read and respect them.

They aren't there to make life difficult. They're there to ensure I can continue offering these lovely, dedicated grooming days for our feline friends. 💜

Thank you, as always, to my wonderful customers who respect my time, support my little business and trust me with their precious cats. It really does mean so much. 🐱🐾💜

🍂🐾 Welcome Autumn 🐾🍂

The leaves are changing, the air is becoming cooler and autumn has most definitely arrived.

It is such a lovely time of year for our pets — crisp walks and crunchy leaves for the dogs, followed by muddy paws and cosy cuddles at home, while our cats begin searching out the warmest spot in the house to curl up and watch the changing season outside.

Whether they love exploring every new autumn smell, watching the leaves fall from a favourite window or simply snuggling a little closer as the evenings grow darker, I hope you enjoy this beautiful season together.

Here’s to colourful walks, warm laps, gentle purrs and plenty of cosy moments with the pets who make every season more special. 💜🐾

💜🐾 What a lovely day of pampering at Love to Paws! 🐾💜

I've had four gorgeous dogs keeping me company in the salon today! 🥰

🌸 Beautiful Daisy started my day with a lovely full groom and spa pamper. As one of my VIPs, she also got to enjoy her special birthday treat! 🎂💜

🐾 Handsome Bobby was next, enjoying a fabulous full groom and spa treatment.

💜 Lovely Wilf followed for his regular groom and spa, looking as handsome as ever!

🦷 And handsome Lenny rounded off my day with a full groom and Emmi-Pet teeth clean.

Four gorgeous dogs, lots of pampering and a really lovely day in the salon! 🥰🐾

📅 Just a little appointment reminder!

I still have a couple of appointments available for October, and my November diary is open for bookings too.

If you'd like to get your dog booked in for a lovely groom and pamper, please do get in touch. I'd love to hear from you! 💜🐾

🎄🐾 I’m going to say it… Christmas! 🐾🎄

I know it is only the middle of October and nobody wants to be frightened by the “C” word just yet, but Christmas appointments at Love to Paws are already filling quickly.

As a one-woman business, I will always do my very best to accommodate everyone, but there are only so many appointments I can fit into each day — and sadly, I cannot magic extra hours into December!

So, if you would really like your dog or cat groomed before Christmas, please do get in touch as soon as possible. Once the remaining appointments have gone, they really have gone.

And there is more festive excitement on the way… my Christmas spa package will be returning from the week commencing 9 November, with all the lovely seasonal touches to help your pet look, feel and smell fabulous for Christmas.

Keep your eyes peeled — Santa Paws is coming very soon! 💜🐾

What a lovely day in the salon! 💜🐾

Starting with the beautiful Nellie, who came in for her full groom and pamper, looking and feeling gorgeous by the time she headed home! 🥰

Next up was the gorgeous Hallie, who has now completed her Puppy Package! What an absolute angel she is, and such a little superstar throughout her visits. 💜

Then it was time for the beautiful Elba, who enjoyed a lovely full groom and pamper, leaving her looking fabulous! 🐾

And last but certainly not least, the handsome Frankie returned for the second session of his Confidence Package. What a star he was! It's always so lovely to see those little steps forward as we continue building confidence and positive experiences at his own pace. 💜

Four gorgeous dogs, each with their own personalities and individual needs. Just how I love my days at Love to Paws! 🥰🐾

🍂🐾 Autumn mealtimes with Marnie and Butternut Box 🐾🍂

As the cooler autumn days arrive, there is something especially lovely about cosy mealtimes — and Marnie certainly agrees! 💜

Marnie and I are very proud to be Butternut Box ambassadors. She takes her role as chief taste tester extremely seriously, and the excitement when her bowl appears tells me everything I need to know.

One of the things I particularly love at this time of year is being able to gently warm her food before serving it. It makes her meal feel that little bit cosier on a chilly autumn day, and Marnie definitely seems to enjoy it even more — although I am not sure she ever needs much encouragement at dinnertime!

Her meals arrive conveniently portioned and ready to serve, making them easy for me and very enjoyable for her.

Every pet is different, and choosing their food is always a personal decision. But if you have been thinking about trying Butternut Box, you can use our code LOVETOPAWS50 to receive 50% off your first two boxes.

Another clean bowl from my very happy little ambassador. 💜🐾
