Not every toy should be left unattended!
Toys provide fantastic enrichment for out pets, but it is important to remember not all toys are safe to leave unsupervised. 🦴🧸
⚠️Damaged toys can break apart, creating a risk of swallowing small pieces.
⚠️Rope toys and long strings can become tangled around a pets neck potentially causing strangulation.
⚠️Squeakers, stuffing and loose parts can be accidentally ingested , leading to potential choking or intestinal blockages.
This may sound over the top, but there’s been a few cases in the media recently of cats and dogs sadly suffering fatal injuries when left unsupervised with their toys.
