From the 1st January 2025, Lone Sycamore Stables is happy to announce that we will be re-opening our doors to Assisted DIY livery clients!😄

Assisted DIY could be for you if you're needing the pressure taken off on those weekday mornings, or working hard to support your horse and wanting more time to spend with them rather than mucking out.

Please check our pinned post for more details on what is provided on an Assisted DIY livery contract, hoping to see you all in 2025!

Our 40ft round pen is coming in in leaps and bounds! Now to add the sand surface and guards around the bottom of the panels. It’s so close to being usable, can’t wait to see liveries and others use it!

Lone Sycamore Stables, a small, private, family-run livery yard in Keith, Moray, offering DIY, Assisted DIY and Part livery packages. We aim to provide the quality of facilities and care offered by a larger yard on a much smaller, friendlier scale. Our own personal home is on the yard and 24hr CCTV is in operation throughout our property to give your horse and your belongings an added sense of security. Offering up to 24/7 turnout during the summer on 16 acres of pasture, with 14 x 11 fully outfitted stables, the most important thing to us is the comfort of your horses. We offer two spacious arenas, one with a carpet surface and the other on grass, and have plans to add a 40ft round pen in the future. Before and after of our new stables from Cheval Liberté. They have gone from 9 x 10 to 14 x 11, to give all the horses more space to move around and relax when in. I’ll be doing a yard tour shortly where I will go into more detail on all the amenities included with each stable.

With the new sign in, I’m feeling more and more excited to open to the public! Only the round pen and water heater left to install now, and we should be ready to start taking viewings. Will post more about our prices and facilities as we go… watch this space!
