Lucifer is a gorgeous 2yr old Welsh Collie x Border Collie.
He is looking for a fresh start in a home that will give him the time, love and adventure he deserves.
👫 He is super friendly, affectionate, and great with people. He is used to living with children.
🏡 Housetrained and comfortable being left alone for a few hours.
🐕🦺 He is smart and eager to please. He sits politely for treats, has a decent recall, and walks reasonably well on lead despite limited practice- He is rarely walked.
🐶 Lucifer has had limited socialisation.
As with many dogs who come into rescue we find out details about their behaviour when we take them away from their home environment and out into the big wide world.
In Lucifers case we found that he is what we know as a frustrated greeter. To some this may look like aggression, but after a few minutes you can see that all he wants to do is play but he has never learned how to do so correctly.
We are in the process of starting training (with the help of a professional) to help him develop his social skills but its not easy with his current home circumstances.
He needs a home with someone willing to continue to help him learn how to act appropriately around other dogs.
🐱 He has lived with cats.
💉 He hasn't been vaccinated or neutered but both will be arranged as part of the rehoming process.
✂️ He is in need of a well deserved pamper session and groom to get his lovely coat looking and feeling its best
