We are so baffled that Lola is still on our website and hasn’t been snapped up yet!

This gorgeous girl is super friendly, loving, and so ready to be your best companion! She’ll curl up on your lap or sofa and enjoy endless strokes and cuddles… She has so much love to give!

She’s only 1 year old and has her whole life ahead of her. Let’s help her find somebody special to spend it with ☺️

❤️‍🩹💕 Mary Needs a Second Chance 💕❤️‍🩹

Do you remember the beautiful Mary?

She came into YCR with her mum and sister after being rescued by Lynn and Chloe very unexpectedly. You might remember that some cats were living outside and the 'owners' had thrown them some curry for their dinner onto the floor ❤️‍🩹

Having lived outside for so long and not having much positive interaction with humans, this poor girl is now understandably very scared and unsure around people.

Despite being safe now, she's still struggling to let her guard down. She’s a very scared girl who can be hissy, growly and quite stand-offish 💔

Sadly this means Mary is now struggling to find a new home, as she doesn't sell herself well here at the centre and isn't the snuggly lap cat most people are looking for...

Mary needs someone who can see past her fear and understand that trust cannot be rushed. She deserves a home where she can simply exist, feel safe and be loved for who she is, without any expectations.

We know that not everyone will be able to offer Mary the home that she needs, but we're hoping someone somewhere will be willing to work patiently with her ❤️‍🩹

Mary is still so young. She has so much of her life ahead of her, and we desperately want her to have the chance to discover that life can be good, that she can feel safe and loved!

We have 6 new babies we would like you all to meet! ❤️

This beautiful bunch were handed over into our care as their previous owner was no longer able to keep them and wanted to find them their own loving homes ❤️‍🩹

They are around 10 weeks old and are going to need a bit of TLC, as a few of them have gunky eyes.

They are all absolutely gorgeous and will no doubt be snapped up as soon as they’re ready. We’ll follow up with their names and genders very shortly ❤️

We have a lovely update on our bonded pair Salem and Moon!!

These gorgeous friendly boys came in as their previous owner was no longer able to look after them, and they were looking for a new home together ❤️

" We just wanted to share an update on Salem and Moon who we adopted on Saturday. They have already settled in and their differing personalities have started to show.

Moon is very much the more laid back of the pair except when he's playing with his toys. Salem on the other hand, is always up for some cuddle and playtime. Both are still obsessed with their food though 😂"

🤩🤩 Dizzy In His New Home! 🤩🤩

We have a fab update on Dizzy who has made himself right at home with his new family! 🩵

"It’s been a lovely 2 weeks getting to know him and he’s come out of his shell a lot. We kept him separate from our 3 girl cats and slowly introduced them.

He now has free roam around the house and is making the most of all the space. He is such a playful kitten and likes to climb curtains 😂"

We have another update from another one of our 'spicy' kittens.... who is not so spicy anymore ❤️

Little Mick also went into his own foster home for some bravery training, and he has massively come out of his shell after a bit of time and patience!

"Turns out Mick is the craziest little loving kitten ever. He’s very hard to photograph as he never stays still for a second he just wants to play with anything and everything 😆

Feeling much improved, eating and drinking well and going to the toilet fine. His favourite spot is the window sill so he has his own blanket up there now, he people watches in his breaks from being a menace

Little Bryn has made massive progress recently!

This gorgeous boy came in with his siblings and quiet a few of them were pretty spicy, including himself!

They were sent off to their own foster homes for some 1-1 braver training, and so far little Bryn has made us SO PROUD 😍

"Little Bryn has turned into the sweetest most loving little boy ever. No more hissing just still slightly jumpy at loud noises. Absolutely loves attention and purrs within about 3 seconds of handling him 🖤

Brought the cat tree into his room and he sleeps on the top shelf of that, no more hiding away. He lives to play with a wand toy, his catnip mouse and in his tunnel.
He's just perfect 🖤"

🩵🩵 Mr Agnoos In His New Home!! 🩵🩵

We have a super lovely update on Mr Agnoos in his new home!

This gorgeous boy is 5 years old and was found as a stray before being brought into our care. He was such a lovely boy who deserved the best home, so we’re delighted that he has landed on his paws with a wonderful family and is living his best life!

"We have had the best 2 weeks with Mr Agnoos! He settled in literally right away and has been super cuddly and affectionate with us from day one. We feel really lucky to have him ❤️"
