Not all cats are bold and confident, selling themselves to whoever will give them attention, many are shy, quiet, afraid and overwhelmed. Meet Jerri. Shes around 6 months old and was found living under someone's garden hedge and handed into the pdsa in Bradford before coming to us.
Shes decided the safest place in the pen is this plastic bag hanging on the wall!. Shes does come out sometimes too, see video in the comments.
She is fine with other cats but would be better in a quieter household.
Lets see if we can 'let the cat out of the bag' and get Jerri a home

🎉 We've finally got him! 🎉

We've had our eye on this handsome fella for quite some time. We originally planned to bring him into rescue back in early April, but this street smart boy had other ideas!

Thankfully, this week, Boy George (lovingly named by the amazing family who have been feeding him, earning his trust, and working tirelessly to get him safely off the streets) was finally caught and brought into our care.

Judging by just how filthy he is, the size of his enormous tomcat cheeks, and the collection of old and new battle scars he carries, it's clear that Boy George has been surviving life on the streets for many years.

Despite everything he's been through, he is already learning to trust people. Like so many former street cats, all he really wants is a warm, comfortable bed to curl up in, safe from the elements and no longer having to fight for food or territory.

He is booked in for neutering and vaccinations and will soon begin the next chapter of his life as he prepares for a forever home and a family of his own. ❤️

🤍Isadora's Story 🤍

Meet Isadora, We have been a little quiet on here recently , but we have been very busy behind the scenes.

Isadora came into rescue from a heartbreaking hoarding and neglect situation involving 15 cats and kittens of varying ages. Including Iliana & Isla.

When Isadora and her siblings arrived, they were desperately unwell - severely anaemic after being overwhelmed by fleas, malnourished, and showing signs of both viral and bacterial infections. Despite everything she had been through, Isadora has remained a gentle, resilient little fighter.

Over the past few weeks, Isadora and her sister Imogen underwent intensive treatment for severely infected and inflamed eyes. We held onto hope that her eye could be saved, but sadly the damage to Isadora’s left eye was too severe.

On Monday, little Isadora underwent surgery to remove the eye.

We haven’t had chance to post about Isadora's journey yet, but we’re relieved to share that she is recovering really well so far and is already showing us just how strong she is. We’re hopeful this surgery will give her the comfortable, happy, pain-free future she deserves.

Although the surgery is now behind her, we are still fundraising to help cover the cost of her operation, medications, follow-up appointments, and ongoing care.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how small , every pound truly helps and makes a difference to Isadora, and the rest of her siblings who will hopefully be up for adoption in the near future.

OUR BEAUTIFUL, GREEN EYED GIRL IS LOOKING FOR HER FUREVER FAMILY.

Frenchie is the tiniest and sweetest little girl and has just finished her mama duties.

At only around 10 months old,Frenchie had to give birth to 4 kittens. Sadly one was born asleep and one severely deformed and crossed the Rainbow bridge within 24 hours. Such young and tiny cats shouldn't be having to go through pregnancy and traumatic births.

Despite it all Frenchie has done a fabulous job of nursing and raising Heidi and Hazel.

She is quite vocal and loves attention and fusses. Shes learning how to play with toys and is very playful.

She would suit a quieter home and with slow and correct introductions would be fine with another friendly cat.

She is up to date with flea and worm treatment, microchipped, neutered and has had her first vaccination. Her new family will need to be in a position to return her to Aireworth vets for her second vaccination.
