Beauxlene’s day off: trying to keep Mama upright on the slippy bark with two left feet - while marching her past TWO men she desperately wants to bite 😂😂

After an unfortunate month off real Malinois work, this girl bounced back like she’d never been away. ❤️ She’s so deserved this 🥹

No bites on this round, which is totally different to everything we’ve been practising here over the past few months! 😂 So today it was big ears, big focus and pure obedience.

And she absolutely smashed it. That’s our girl! 🐊❤️

🐾 TITUS - DAY 2! 🐾

Yesterday was all about bonding, trust and building that relationship. ❤️

Last night, Nichola introduced the clicker during tea, and today we went straight back to it after more bonding and time together.

And honestly… this little pup understood the assignment! 😍👏🏼

Today’s lesson was simple:

👉 The click means GOOD things! 🐶✨

That’s it.

Simple… but incredibly effective.

We’re not asking Titus for perfection. We’re not expecting polished behaviours or obedience just yet.

We’re teaching him to think, try, offer behaviours and discover that his choices can earn rewards.

It’s about free shaping.
It’s about effort.
It’s about those tiny tries.
It’s about celebrating the little wins. 🥰🐾

And Titus?

10/10 today! ⭐️

This little guy tries SO hard to please, and we genuinely can’t fault him. You can already see what a fantastic family dog he’s going to be. ❤️

Day 2 complete… and we’re absolutely loving watching this little pup learn and grow.

Who else thinks Titus is just a little smarty pants for such a young age? 🥹🐶💙

🎥 Sometimes we film our sessions with our lovely clients… and Cathy & Bon Bon are two of our favourites! 🐶❤️

Although, we still can’t decide who keeps us more entertained… Cathy or Bon Bon! 😂

It’s always such a pleasure spending time with this little team.

Cathy and Bon Bon are working on the life skills they need for the life they share together and watching their journey has been beautiful.

Believe it or not, Bon Bon started out as a bit of a Tasmanian devil! 🌪️😂

Fast forward to now and we have a much calmer, content, eager-to-learn Bon Bon the Great! 🥰

And what makes this even more special is Cathy herself.

Cathy is elderly and has some health issues, but that doesn’t stop her and her little best friend from getting out there, learning together and enjoying themselves. ❤️

They train together, they have fun together, and they have built such a beautiful bond.

And honestly?

That’s what it’s all about. 🐾

Dog training isn’t one-size-fits-all.

Our days can look completely different - from home visits helping with everyday challenges, competitive obedience, protection dogs, behaviour modification, board & trains and everything in between.

And that’s the magic of the job. ✨

Every dog is different. Every person is different. Every partnership needs something different.

It’s our job to tailor-make a plan that suits the individual, whatever their age, ability, experience or goals and most importantly, to make sure they can enjoy the journey along the way with no judgment.

Because training should build confidence in not only the dogs but our owners, strengthen relationships and create a better life together.

And whatever you do…

Do it with love. ❤️🐶

These three are basically inseparable at DogDays. One starts a game, they’re all in. One finds a toy… suddenly it’s a team sport! 😂

🐾 Behind the scenes of Board & Trains at our lodges… ❤️

This is the very first time baby Titus has ever met Nichola! And as much as we know and have trained his older big sister, who is now just the BEST dog, we have to start completely from scratch all over again… 😂 Thanks, Claire & Seb! 😂❤️ Only kidding - we absolutely LOVE this part!

The best thing you can do for a puppy that knows absolutely nothing is get in touch with a professional dog trainer. Check the reviews, do your research and find someone you trust.

We love fast results but we want fast results that are solid, reliable and built to last. And with Titus being such a young boy, building that relationship with his trainer is just as important as the training itself.

Nichola is an award-winning dog trainer, so this little guy really is in the best hands. ❤️🐾☺️

As you can see in the video, Nichola is already building that bond and looking out for Titus, even protecting him when other dogs come over. This happens a lot during training, and sometimes you get lovely owners, like the gentleman in this video, who politely ask and completely understand what we’re doing. 🥰

Titus is only with us for a short week this time, and it’s primarily about bond building. That way, when he has his 1-to-1 sessions with his family and comes back to us for future Board & Trains, it won’t feel scary or unfamiliar - because he’ll already LOVE and TRUST his trainer.

And honestly, that’s what it’s all about.

Frank & Alma 😍😍😍

One of the most important things we can teach dogs that live together is how to share and just as importantly, how to understand a solid “leave” command. 🐾

After another fantastic training session with these two beautiful Rottweiler puppies, we spent some time working on exactly that. They’re taking their training journey with us from start to finish, getting all the foundations right from day one.

Because it’s not just what happens during the training session that counts. It’s the little moments in between, the everyday boundaries, consistency and learning how to live together that help shape good, well-rounded dogs. ❤️🐶

🐾 Willow - having a plan makes all the difference. 🐾

One of the biggest things I want my clients to feel when they come to us for dog training is that there is a plan, a reason behind it, and someone there to guide them through it.

Willow is a clever little girl with so much potential, and rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we’re going to look at the dog in front of us, understand what makes her tick and build a plan around that.

For me, it’s not just about teaching the dog - it’s about helping the owners understand why we’re doing things, so they feel confident and consistent at home too. No judgement, no silly questions, and no feeling like you’re a nuisance for asking for help. ❤️

Consistency, structure and the right guidance can make such a huge difference, and I genuinely believe Willow is going to progress beautifully once we get everyone singing from the same hymn sheet.

Absolutely looking forward to being part of Willow’s journey and seeing this clever little girl develop over the coming weeks and months. 🐶❤️

A dog. An owner. A plan. And a team working together. That’s where the magic happens. 🐾
