🐾 Group Walkies Fun at The Lodges! 🐾

What a fantastic day we’ve had at The Lodges! Our boarding guests enjoyed a wonderful group walk together, making new friends, exploring the great outdoors, and having plenty of fun along the way. 🐕🌳

There were wagging tails, happy faces, and lots of sniffing adventures as the dogs spent quality time socialising and enjoying the fresh air. It’s always lovely to see them building confidence, playing together, and making the most of their holiday with us.

After all that excitement, we have a feeling there will be some very sleepy pups settling in for a well-earned rest this evening! 💤❤️

Our June diary is now open for our 1-1 dog training sessions where we come to you 🚗🐶

Training in your dog’s everyday environment allows us to work through real-life situations and create practical, tailored plans that fit both you and your dog.

However we do have a fully equipped training centre that we can also use for dogs who struggle more with environments that aren’t their home or somewhere cool out the heat.

🐾 1-1 Dog Training & Boarding Availability 🐾

We currently have availability for the following services at our peaceful woodland lodge retreat in the heart of Yorkshire:

📅 Available Dates
• Boarding: 22nd – 28th June (1 week)
• Board & Train: From 21st July into August
• September: Availability for both Boarding & Board & Train packages

We only accept a maximum of two dogs at any one time, allowing us to provide a calm, structured and personalised experience for every dog staying with us.

Set within our beautiful woodland retreat in Yorkshire, each dog receives a tailored plan suited to their individual needs, whether that’s training, confidence building, structure, recall work, lead manners or simply a safe and enriching home-from-home stay.

🐾 Lovely Lumie 🐾

Working around an injury doesn’t mean a dog has to stop having fun or enjoying training 💛

Lumie and her awesome dad have been putting in the work, and we’ve adapted her training plan to make sure it stays fun, enriching and suited to her needs while she recovers.

One of Lumie’s absolute favourite exercises is her retrieves, and she loves helping her dad while building confidence, engagement and purpose through training 🐶✨

It’s so important to remember that every dog is an individual, and with the right guidance and adjustments, training can still be enjoyable, rewarding and beneficial - but even when limitations are in place.

We’re so proud of both of them and the progress they’re making together ❤️❤️❤️

🐾 Rescue girl Ruby 🐾

This weekend we worked on Ruby’s separation anxiety with her amazing fosters, who have worked so hard alongside us to give this Mali mix the best chance at her forever home ❤️

We now have a solid plan moving forward, and one of the biggest wins today was conditioning Ruby to her crate properly. Already she’s feeling calmer, safer, and more settled in her own space.

Crate = good things coming 🍗🐶

🐾 Walkie time with Nala today!

We tested her training around game, distractions, and a few other dogs and she absolutely smashed it. Even managed to call her off a bird mid chase… what a good girl! 👏🦅

We always like to properly test our dogs in real-life situations so we can see what’s solid and what we can still improve on before they go home. Nala made us very proud today 🥰
