Over the last month we were lucky enough to have Craig , fireman extraordinaire, come and do the first aid badge with everyone ⛑️ We were also joined by ‘Rescue Annie’ who the children got the chance to do CPR on - a great skillset to learn!

Farrier Steve Newman came out and helped us with the shoeing badge at the end of June 🔨 He gave a really good talk on how and why we show horses, let the children handle the tools and ask as many questions as they wanted! It was a really good month for our members and thank you very much to Craig and Steve for all their help! 🙌🥰🐴

We are now looking at getting ready to start running through practice sessions for the Howden Equitation Competition. Entries close on September 15th and those who will be going forward into teams must be current members of the Pony Club - if you are not currently a member you can join online on the PC website. We will do a separate post for details on the Howden Equitation, please keep an eye on our Facebook for this shortly. 👀📚

In the meantime, we are looking forward to a great summer of pony fun! ☀️🌴🐴🐎

🐴 Pony Club Spring Dressage Shows 🐴

We are excited to be running some dressage shows for our Pony Club members 🥳

Dates are as follows -
Sat AM group - April 6th
Sat PM groups - April 13th
Sunday AM group - April 20th
Wednesday group - April 17th

All pony clubs will be given copies of their tests and will have a chance to practise in the coming weeks 🙌

Dress is smart casual and parents/family are welcome to come and watch 😊

🐴 Howden Equitation Competition 🐴

We are really keen this year to be able to have a team and some individuals taking part in the Howden Equitation competition 🙌 riders will be doing a dressage test and we'll as a round of showjumps 🥳
Your Pony Club instructors will fill you in on the details in the coming weeks and we can chat aboit preparation for those who would like to join in 🦄

The Centre Equitation Competition is an opportunity for Teams and Individuals from Pony Club Linked Riding Centres to compete against each other and showcase correct riding ability.
