Over the last month we were lucky enough to have Craig , fireman extraordinaire, come and do the first aid badge with everyone ⛑️ We were also joined by ‘Rescue Annie’ who the children got the chance to do CPR on - a great skillset to learn!
Farrier Steve Newman came out and helped us with the shoeing badge at the end of June 🔨 He gave a really good talk on how and why we show horses, let the children handle the tools and ask as many questions as they wanted! It was a really good month for our members and thank you very much to Craig and Steve for all their help! 🙌🥰🐴
We are now looking at getting ready to start running through practice sessions for the Howden Equitation Competition. Entries close on September 15th and those who will be going forward into teams must be current members of the Pony Club - if you are not currently a member you can join online on the PC website. We will do a separate post for details on the Howden Equitation, please keep an eye on our Facebook for this shortly. 👀📚
