We supply quality day old chicks - point of lay chickens to domestic and small commercial customers, and are conveniently situated just off the A38 in Ivybridge. We stock an extensive range of poultry supplies, many of which we have tested to ensure you will not be left disappointed. Whether you’re just getting started or have k

ept hens for years, we are confident we can find what you need. Be it a house, drinker or even just a treat for your hens – we’ve got it all! Keeping free range chickens and hens at home or on an allotment is one of the fastest growing hobbies. Nothing is better than collecting free range eggs freshly laid by your own pet hens and chickens from your own back garden, then serving the eggs up to your family minutes later. If you keep your own hens you know what they eat, so no more worrying about additives in commercial chicken feed; your eggs will be naturally healthy and delicious. If you are new to poultry keeping, we will do our best to help you set up with everything you need and offer advice on poultry rearing, poultry housing, point of lay hens, pullets, their care and maintenance. If we don't know the answer to your question we will always try to find someone who does!

These striking birds are medium-sized hens that mix wonderfully with other breeds, making them a lovely addition to mixed flocks 🐔✨

Known for their distinctive forward-pointing crest and slender build, Appenzellers are brilliant foragers and love exploring. They’re wonderfully independent birds and often look after themselves while still laying well on very little food 🌿

These sweet girls are very similar to the Devon Blue, but with beautiful blue feathers and a small fluffy tuft on top of their heads 🤍

They’re the perfect “in-between” size — larger than bantams but smaller than large fowl, making them ideal for many backyard flocks.
