How much load do weave poles actually place on a dog’s limbs? 🐕

A new agility study has taken the first objective look at the biomechanics of weave pole performance, and the findings suggest that gait style may significantly influence how forces are distributed through the limbs.

Researchers compared the three common weave styles seen in competition dogs and found clear differences in limb loading and asymmetry during the weaving motion.
