We take in cats & kittens in need & find them loving homes. We fundraise regularly organising & attending events.

Ipswich Branch of Cats Protection was formed in 2000 after working in conjunction with a neighbouring branch for ten years. Most of the original committee members are still running the branch, which has gone from strength to strength over the years. We have 6 regular fosterers who have a total of 10 pens in their own gardens along with specialist in home care. We health check, microchip & vaccinate every cat / kitten before rehoming. We also have our own charity shop in Queen Street, Ipswich. Our Co-op Dividend Number is - 234701 which people are most welcome to use to boost funds. We have 200+ members who receive quarterly newsletters & we welcome contributions to articles published -

Even cats that dont like people need somewhere to call home.
We are always seeking farms, barns, small holdings, stables, or simply 'hands off' homes for cats who have had little or no postive human interation.
Some may for instance have had a challenging start in life living in a large multi-cat home. A stray for whom a traditional home is not for them. Or even a feral where the bulldozers have arrived to claim their home.

🐾 Please say hello to Sable 🐾

Sable is a beautiful, affectionate midnight girl who came into our care as a stray along with her kittens. Having beautifully fulfilled her mama duties, she is now ready to find a loving home of her own to feel safe and belong.

This endearing young lady is 1 year 8 months old and has a graceful, sweet nature. She is friendly, enjoying strokes and chin rubs, and likes playing with her kitty toys, especially those catnip ones!

She would love access to a garden to stretch out her silky paws and, with the proper introductions could live with another feline friend.

Adorable, friendly kittens, four boys and one little girl aged 11 weeks, are now ready to find loving families of their very own.

These delightful siblings love to play, climb and tumble and when they finally tire out will cuddle up together for a well-earned snooze.
