🚨 A LITTLE REMINDER TO ALL OUR LOVELY CLIENTS — BRUSH YOUR DOGS! 🐶🪮

Matting can be hidden, stubborn and much worse than it looks from the outside! 😬

Sometimes a coat can look lovely on the surface while knots and mats are hiding underneath, especially around the ears, armpits, chest, legs, belly and tail.

Once matting has formed, it can be extremely difficult to remove and brushing through stubborn mats can be uncomfortable for your dog. 💔

✨ Regular brushing between grooms is SO important.
✨ Please make sure you are brushing right through the coat, not just over the surface.
✨ If you’re unsure whether you’re brushing correctly, please ask your groomer for advice — we’d much rather help you than have your dog become matted.

A few minutes of regular brushing at home can make a HUGE difference to your dog’s comfort and their next groom. 🛁✂️🐾

Remember: prevention is always better than trying to remove stubborn matting! 💕
