🔷Preparing for your vet visit 🔷

To make the most of your vet visit we have put together a few points
🔹Be ready - Your vet can call you on route with an estimated time of arrival, please let us know when booking you appointment
🔹Have your horse caught and ready for your vet , in a stable or shelter if you have one.
🔹Have your horse or pony clean ( as clean as possible) We understand in the Scottish Highlands this is not easy in the winter with the rain and mud. Where possible for health exams/ Vaccination a please wash/ brush your horses legs and give their body a brush. This means our vets can clearly check over your horse
🔹For vaccinations please have your horses passport ready so it can be checked and updated
🔹Dental Visits , while we understand it is not possible for everyone, it is preferred to do dentals undercover, especially in the Scottish winter . If possible please have some warm water available ( your horse and vet will thank you for this )
