Friday's footerers. A quiet start to the day with the morning patrol and a wee wander about Templeton. Quiet until the squirrels were spotted at least, then Barney was giving it laldie 🤣 Kaya couldn't be bothered chasing them, she's still got big sad after her pal wee T***k had to go. Bear did his best to cheer her up, bless him. And eat as many biscuits as possible, obviously.
Nonsense at lunchtime with the motley assortment of bams. Sprout has decided he only wants to run about with Willow, he's not a fan of Buddy. Buddy keeps trying to win him over though and I reckon one day he'll succeed 😂 Mac still busy trying to herd Willow, to little avail. Aye, good luck with that, pal.
Away round the farm to finish off the week. Blowing a hoolie but it was still deceptively warm, luckily had plenty of water with me. Which all got drank pretty quickly. Yes, with the usual pushing and shoving 🙈 Then there was great excitement when the squad paused to examine a big trailer left by the side of the field. Simple things for simple minds 😂 Anyway, that's me for the week folks, enjoy your weekend!

Thursday's squad. A fine start to the day with the morning patrol and a nice walk around Backmuir. There was a wee bit of sun, some good sniffing and generally good times. Until we encountered that damn angry pheasant again 🙈 Kaya saw it off sharpish and wee Sprout was ready to throw hands (or paws). Don't come at the morning patrol with your mad goobledegook noises.
Some more capers and nonsense with the Brute squad at lunchtime. Poor Bear. Tucker did a good job of winding Willow up, not that she needs much encouragement, only to take off and leave Bear to get his arse kicked 🤣 He's a sturdy fella though, he's fine. And for some inexplicable reason, he loves it.
Bit of Extreme Fetch to finish off the day with the 3 stooges. There were scores all round, as well as a fair amount of mooching in between throws, and of course Lolly and Kaya taking each other out 😂 In the end though, only one dog had her day. Kaya was on fire and scooped up all 3 points for the leaderboard.

Wednesday's wanderers. Starting off the day with the mayhem that is the morning patrol. The usual 'going anywhere but the way they're supposed to go' capers but this time with Jasper diving aboot like a loonie 😂 Things calmed down a bit when they saw a horse, just wandering about by itself. Cos that seems normal. It was back to nonsense after that though.
Very little nonsense at lunchtime, just the usual Wednesday moochery and attempted biscuit heists 🙈 All very typical. Until we found, the Blob. Don't ask me what it was, some jelly like lump of something but they were all very interested in it. Didn't get a photo of it cos I had to stop Jasper from trying to roll in it. Cos of course he did. Weird, whatever it was.
No wandering livestock or unexplained goo on the last walk of the day, thank goad. Just a very brisk walk around the farm. Not very warm today, see? Much better weather for big, hairy beasties. Would've been better if it wasn't raining but you can't win 'em all. Especially when the rain means you have to try and dry Nala. Like trying to wrestle a squid into a string poke 🤣

Tuesday's troops. Started off the day with a full squad riot up in Templeton. Nah, just kidding, they were (mostly) behaving 😂 Well, apart from a few Labradors who didn't listen about not going in the mud. But to be fair, i think mud is their natural habitat. After a wander through the long grass to clean the mud off their feet and then a quick rub down with a towel, they were all good.
Some more of the mayhem we've all come to know and love with the Brute squad at lunchtime. After the last couple of times bring pretty chilled, Willow was definitely on one again. They were all a bit on one though, wee Ruby was extra feisty as Buddy found out 🙈 I've warned him many a time not to wind her up, he'll no listen.
Windy but dry for the last walk of the day. A nice wee wander through the woods, all chilled and relaxed. Until we got out into the park, then Kaya had a burst of the zoomies. And of course Jasper joined in 🤣 Definitely went over an hour on that one though, wee Sprout is another one who loves a good roll in the grass every two seconds. Bribery gets him moving again at least.

Monday's moochers. A rare sight in Backmuir this morning, the morning patrol behaving themselves 😂 Skye wasn't pulling, Bailey wasn't running around with a gobful of sticks, taking people out at the knees, minimal mooching all round. Alright, Barney behaves himself pretty much all the time, but still. Was like a wonderful dream.
A wonderful dream that didn't last long, not a working lug at lunchtime. 3 and a half labs, all running about daft, sharing a brain cell 🙈 At least I managed to keep Tucker out of the stinky puddle. The rest are black, it's fine. Poor Luna's lugs have never been licked so much. To cap it all off, Sprout just gave up and refused to move on the way back to the van. Bams, the lot of 'em.
Slightly less tomfoolery on the last walk of the day, which isn't saying much. They were in and out of that burn at every available opportunity, and of course we absolutely HAD to go and investigate where the smell of something rotting was wafting from 🤢 Bribery fixed that before we got to it, thankfully. At least we didn't see any squirrels.

Friday's footerers. So we started the day off with a wander about Templeton and everyone ended up wet and a little bit muddy. But a dirty dog is a happy dog, right? 😂 At least I managed to keep Jasper out of the thick, black mud, cos I don't think he'd appreciate getting hosed down before he was allowed back in the house.
Dropped in to see the youngest member of the crew after that. Yup. Still a menace 🤣 She's already moved on to trying to steal biscuits from the pouch. Must be pals with Luna.
Bit of a riot at lumchtime, between Buddy and Willow's mad wrestling and Mac barking at trees and/or squirrels. He had Sprout helping him with the barking today, not sure he knew what was going on but he was keen to help 🙈 At least Odin was behaving.
The big yins are back from a wee holiday so it was away round the farm to finish off the week. Didn't get anywhere fast for a change, all too busy rolling in the grass. Apart from Kaya, she's only into that on the grass in the garden 😂 Anwyay, that's me for the week folks, enjoy your weekend!

Thursday's squad. No banter today I'm afraid gang, it's a sad day in the Inverhowlie Rovers house. Had to take wee T***k, our cat, to the vet for the big sleep this afternoon. Made it to 16 and a half though, she had a good run.

Wednesday's wallopers. A dull and miserable start to the day, weather wise at least. The squad were in fine spirits regardless, everyone doing what they do best. Sniffing, pulling and mooching, I'll leave it to you to figure out who was doing what 😂 I do have to wonder if Murphy was on the sauce last night, amount of times he got tangled up in his own lead was unreal.
There's a new kid on the block, cute as a button and also a menace 😍 Say hi to Amber, a little 4 month old Labrador. She likes puppy things like, chewing beards, stealing hats and of course, biscuits.
The weather pulled the old switcheroo and it was nice and sunny by lunchtime. There was no sign of any deer for Luna to take off after, thankfully, but her and Sprout spent a lot of time eyeing up the woods. No suspicious adventures though, just 4 tinkies in a puddle 🙈
A quiet one to finish off the day, at least until Nala was factored in. Her and Kaya had a great time diving about like idiots in the sun 🤣 Was a bit hot though so we ended up on the path, under the trees. There the focus switched from capers to mooching. Predictable as clockwork.

Tuesday's troops. Away round Backmuir again with the morning patrol and meh goad, were we on the go-slow 😂 Barney's got an excuse, he's still recovering from a strained leg but no idea what was up with Murphy, he was even slower. Jasper and Kaya were more than happy to give a display of speed though, charging about through the woods like loonies.
Maybe there's something in the air today cos the Brute squad weren't their usual raucous selves at lunchtime. Buddy and Willow gave it a wee blast for a few minutes but that was about the extent of it. Maybe they were saving all their energy for mooching? Cos there was more than enough of that 🤣
Change of scene for the afternoon walk, away round Templeton with the squad. All was peace and quiet for a while, but... Poor Sprout nearly jumped out now his skin the first time Mac saw a squirrel and kicked off 🙈 He'll get used to the insane barking at some point, I'm sure. It's just background noise at this point 😂

Monday's moochers. Well, the morning patrol didn't quite go to plan. Auld Barney is still nursing a sore leg and I couldn't get in to get Skye out for walkies, the key was missing 🙈 So it was just Murphy and Kaya having a wee daunder about the woods. They both did their level best to make sure that we got through the same amount of biscuits that 4 dogs would though 😂 Team players both of 'em.
The lunchtime walk started off relatively peaceful, but that all went in the bin after a trip to the big puddle. Then the capers started 🤣 Good to see wee Sprout joining in again but he is not a fan of ear inspections. Luna kept herself out of it and just used the distraction to try and steal bsicuits. Pest.
The big beasties are on holiday so a wander about the park instead of the farm to finish the day off. Was a bit hot by then so the shade was welcome. Plus, no-one got headbutted away from the water bottle, so that was a nice change 😂 Nala still rolling in the dirt at every opportunity though, so some things stay the same.
