THE FUTURE OF K9 SECURITY IS ABOUT PROVEN COMPETENCE. ๐โ๐ฆบ
The introduction of the UKSICA Public Register of K9 Teams marks an important step towards greater accountability and transparency within our industry.
The register is open to teams accredited through awarding bodies that meet the required standards. But accreditations alone are not enough. Training must be competence-based, assessments must be robust, and supporting evidence must demonstrate that the handler and dog can genuinely perform to the required standard.
As a handler, it's worth asking yourself: does your accreditation demonstrate real competence, with the evidence and accountability to back it up?
At DAK Academy, we're proud to deliver NTIPDU Level 2 General Purpose Security Dog Handler training, supporting a more accountable and professional future for K9 security.
Don't just hold a certificate. Be part of raising the standard.
