🐶 Would you like a friendly, calm, confident pup? ✅ Then these are the classes for you!

🐕 You and your pup will learn lots of new skills in a fun style of training that is all positive reward based, delivered by a fully qualified IMDT trainer.

Classes start on Thursday 24th September and run for 6 weeks, costing £90 per pup.

🕵️🐶 UK Sniffer Dog Bronze 🐶🕵️

🌟 Week 5 was all about car searching, and what a great week it was! 🚙🚘

👏 A massive well done to teams Albus, Luna, Cally, Flora, Tiago, Winter, Oscar & Rogan who all absolutely smashed it. 👏👏

🚘 Each team searched different vehicles , finding different hides from magnetic tins down to vials that ranged in size from 5mm to 2mm - absolutely phenomenal what our dogs noses are capable of 🐶

Massive well done teams - looking forward to our murder mystery graduation - will we discover who did it and with which weapon?! 🕵️🤔

📚🎓🐶 Graduation Night 🐶🎓📚

🎓 Last night was graduation night for the Easy Peasy Puppy & Life Skills classes 🌟

👏 A massive well done to Milo, Poppy, Crumpet, Luna, Layla & Rosie who were all phenomenal and gave 💯 effort in every class 🌟

🙌 These teams have all progressed over the course of 6 weeks, it’s also lovely seeing how much their confidence has grown 🐕

👏 Well done teams and keep up the good work, you were all amazing! 🤩

📚🐶 Easy Peasy Puppy Wk 3 🐶📚

🌟 Last night was all about recall for teams Barney, Maggie, Rory & Teri 🐶

🌟 We started with loading our recall cue, so that the pups would understand what we wanted them to do, we then progressed to a game of ping pong recall where we used play as a reward 🐾

🌟 As part of our recall we also worked on a ‘middle’ making it easier to clip a lead back on along with a ‘middle’ acting as a place that pups can feel safe if unsure as you become a portable barrier for them 🥰

🌟 We also introduced our ‘leave it’ to help build on our pups impulse control - dogs with good impulse control tend to make better decisions, so definitely something to work on 🐕

👏 Well done teams - you all smashed it 🫶

🌟😍 A 1-2-1 with Honey, this little lady is a 12 week old Dachshund, isn’t she gorgeous 🍯

🌟 During our 1-2-1 we introduced the concept of a marker word along with some lovely sits and downs 🐶

🌟 We talked through all the usual puppy issues such as toileting, being left alone and the puppy biting! 🫣

🫶 We also worked on putting Honey’s harness on without it becoming all out body combat, before moving on to appropriate play methods to give Honey a great outlet, before finishing up with the start of her recall cue 🥰

💖 Honey absolutely smashed it and I can’t wait to catch up with her when she’s starts her puppy classes in September 💖🐾

📚🕵️ UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze 🕵️📚

💫 Week 4 of UK Sniffer Dogs Bronze level is all about novel searches, different items introduced, different rooms used and differing levels of complexity 🧠

👏 Teams Albus, Luna, Winter, Tiago, Flora, Max, Cally & Oscar -were all phenomenal last night, they all excelled and proved that our dogs noses are incredible! 🐶

🚙 Looking forward to next week when we move on to car searches - I already know these guys are going to smash it 🌟

🙌 Well done teams, can’t wait for next week 🕵️☺️🐾

📚🐶 Last Night’s Classes 🐶📚

💫 Last night was all about recall for the puppies and life skills classes.

💫 We worked on a solid recall through play making the engagement fun, making it a positive so that our dogs want to come back no matter the distractions!

💫 Then we turned to cooperative care, with our let me see game along with introducing items such as nail clippers, brushes, medication items etc - getting them used to these items in a chill way so they learn there’s no need to fear them 🥰

💫 Then we finished off with ‘buffet closed’ and the art of doing nothing!

👏 Well done Poppy, Woody, Milo, Crumpet, Luna, Layla & Rosie 🐶🐾

🌟 Want to brush up on your dog’s skills and put all that training into practice in the real world?

🌟 Join me for The Skills Club at Coco’s Dog Paddock — fun, friendly outdoor training sessions where we’ll build on the skills your dog already has while learning to work around all those usual outdoor distractions.
