🐾 THE FACE BEHIND XD PET & EQUINE SERVICES 🐴
Thought it was probably about time I properly introduced myself 👋
I’m Jen — the person behind XD Pet & Equine Services. Chief dog walker, poo picker, treat dispenser, professional cuddler and the person you’ll usually find covered in mud, dog hair or horse hair 😂
Animals have pretty much always been my life, and that’s exactly why I started XD.
🐾 WHAT DO I STAND FOR?
Your animal comes first. Always. ❤️
I don’t believe a dog walk is about how many miles we can smash out, how quickly we can get around or getting the perfect photo for Facebook. The walk belongs to YOUR dog.
If they want to sniff every blade of grass — we sniff.
If they’re nervous and only manage five minutes away from home — that’s still progress.
If they want to run around like an absolute lunatic — we can absolutely do that too 😂
I’m big on building trust, letting animals be individuals and never forcing them into a one-size-fits-all routine.
Whether I’m walking your dog, checking in on your cats or looking after your horses, I want them to genuinely be happy when they see me turn up.
I’m also very much a no bu****it, what-you-see-is-what-you-get person 😂 You’ll get honest updates, probably far too many photos and a running commentary of exactly what your animal has been up to.

Some of you equine owners might actually remember me from when I ran Pony Pick-Up Equine Transport 🚛🐴
So as well as livery services and general horse care, I've got plenty of experience travelling horses too.
That also means I'm on hand for general transport-related help — including loading issues, loading practice or just an extra experienced pair of hands when you've got a horse who has suddenly decided the horsebox is definitely going to eat them 😂
I'm a horse owner myself, so I completely understand that horses rarely read the plan we've made for them 🙃
📸 AND THERE'S A LITTLE EXTRA WITH XD...
I also run XD Photography and have been behind a camera for over 15 years — which means my XD Pet & Equine gang get a little added bonus 👀📸
I'm usually carrying a pretty decent camera or phone, so don't be surprised when your normal dog walk, day out, check-in or livery visit results in some cracking photos of your pet too 😂
Photography can also be added onto services if you'd like something a bit more special — whether that's proper portraits of your dog, photos with your horse or just capturing them doing what they love ❤️
It's not an extra you have to have — it's just another perk of being part of XD.

They’re the animals behind everything I do and a huge part of why I understand just how much trust you're putting in someone when you hand over a lead, a key or the care of your horse.
Your animals aren't just pets to you, and they'll never be treated like just another booking by me.
Once you're on the books, you're part of the XD family 🖤
You don't have to book every week or have a set routine — I'll always do my best to make sure my existing XD gang are catered for whenever they need me.
So yep… that’s me. Jen, a ridiculous number of animals, a camera usually somewhere nearby, permanently muddy shoes and a business named after two horses 😂🐾🐴📸
