Handsome Wilfred tagged along to work with his dad today 🐾💼

We always make time for our own doggies—and today he was on his best behaviour (must’ve known he was on the clock! 😄). Plenty of cuddles, a bit of “supervising,” and of course showing off those good boy manners.

Safe to say, he smashed his shift and earned all the treats 🦴✨

Meet Norman.
Norman came in today for a hand-stripping groom.

Hand-stripping is a specialised grooming technique used primarily for certain wire-coated breeds. It involves carefully removing dead hair from the coat by hand, rather than clipping it with electric tools. This process helps maintain the coat’s natural texture, colour, and protective qualities. By pulling out the loose, mature hairs, new healthy growth is encouraged, resulting in a harsher, more weather-resistant coat that is typical of these breeds.

Unlike clipping, which can soften the coat and fade its colour over time, hand-stripping preserves the dog’s natural appearance and supports overall skin and coat health when carried out regularly by a trained professional.

The salon will be closed on Friday 3rd April and Monday 6th April. We’ll reopen as usual on Tuesday 7th April at 9:30am.

Little Winnie joined us today for her first puppy introduction session and she was such a little princess! 🐶✨
We worked on some table training and helped her get familiar with the sights and sounds of the salon.
