HELLO SEPTEMBER 👋🍂

1st September… the kids are back at school, routines are back to normal and, of course, the Yorkshire weather is back to doing what it does best! 😂 sunshine ☀️🌧️

A busy one for the gang today…

🐾 This morning it was a full house up at the big secure field with Sky, Nova, Ralph, Arthur, Fleur & Peanut — six very happy dogs with plenty of energy to burn! 🐕💨

🐾 This afternoon it was the Two Bonnies & Belle show 😂 Three cockapoos, because apparently I didn’t have enough fluff in my life already! 🐶🐶🐶

Woods, reservoir walks, zoomies, sniffing and cuteness overload 🩷… basically the perfect start to September!

And just like that, we’re back into our normal routines. ❤️🐾

Today’s gang 🐾

A little change to the morning group today, with Barley & Ori joining — and they’ve absolutely loved it! 🥰🐾

Off-lead freedom, plenty of space to run, sniff, explore and cause a little bit of chaos in the 6.5 acre secure field… exactly how a Thursday morning should be!

Although the rain? 🌧️
Honestly… I’m starting to think Thursday is officially the rainy day 😂

But soggy dogs = happy dogs, and they certainly didn’t let the weather dampen their fun! ❤️🐾

International Dog Day 🐾❤️

Today is all about celebrating dogs, but I thought I’d share a little bit of the behind the scenes of Trails Fur Tails too. 🐾

These are some of the dogs you see on my page… but the person behind quite a few of those photos is my son Jude. 📸❤️

Jude regularly comes along with me and takes my photos, and honestly, he’s SO good at it! He has such a good eye for catching those natural little moments that I’d probably miss while I’m busy with the dogs 😂

Photography has given Jude a little hobby that gets him out, involved and doing something he’s genuinely brilliant at, and I love seeing how much he enjoys it. ❤️

And I think it’s fair to say the dogs have a bit of a soft spot for him too!

So, on International Dog Day, here’s a little appreciation post for the dogs… and for my brilliant photographer behind the scenes. 🐾📸❤️

🐾 WHY DO I LOVE BEING A DOG WALKER? 🐾

It’s so much more than just walking dogs… ❤️

I get to spend my days outside in the Yorkshire countryside, surrounded by happy faces, wagging tails and plenty of chaos 😂

Whatever mood I’m in, the dogs are always ridiculously excited to see me, and there’s something about that excitement that just makes everything feel better.

Being out in the fresh air, watching them run, sniff, explore and have the best time makes me forget about everything else for a while.

And then there are the cuddles… 🥹🐶

So would I swap this for an office job?
Not a chance… definitely not for me! 😂🐾
