We offer a professional, reliable and friendly pet care service, including dog walking, cat sitting & small animal care.

Started in February 2009, Huddersfield Pet Sitters has grown dramatically. We have over 300 clients and look after 500+ pets in the Huddersfield area. The services provided are dog walking, cat sitting and small animal care. Whether you're on holiday, long term sick or just working long hours, we are here to ensure your pets are taken care of. For dog walking, you can choose either a 30 min, 45 mi

n or 60 min walk. Within this time we can exercise, play, feed and provide companionship. We also offer a comfort break option for any dogs who struggle with a longer walk. For cat sitting, you can choose either one or two visits per day. Cleaning litter trays, feeding and playing are all part of the service. Our small animal care service includes looking after most domestic pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters etc. We pride ourselves on providing a fantastic service and treat every animal in our care as we do our own. A huge welcome to our gorgeous new recruits; brothers Inky, Nacho and Taco…aka the boys! It’s been so lovely looking after them (and their fish siblings!) and getting to know them while their family have been on holiday. Nacho has been my ever present and super friendly little helper. Taco, who can be shy around new people, really came out of his shell and was very chatty at meal times! Big brother Inky was really chilled out and was happy to relax and enjoy having lots of fuss. Welcome to the HPS gang, boys! 😻😻😻

We’ve welcomed two absolute sweethearts into our gang this week - mother and daughter, Midget and Sweets.
Midget is incredible shy around new people so it was a great honour when she came over to greet me and even wanted head rubs!
Sweets has been very poorly over the last couple of months but, after successful surgery, she’s recovering well and loved nothing more than cuddles on my knee (and Dreamies!) It’s been such a pleasure getting to know them both. Welcome to the HPS gang sweethearts! 😻😻

This is so incredibly difficult to write as we’ve known, loved and walked darling Roxie for 8 years, since she was just a little puppy and this has come as a complete shock.
On Sunday, we had the heartbreaking news that she had suddenly become critically ill and, devastatingly, later that day she passed away.
She was the sweetest, most loving little girl who was adored by all her friends and we had so much fun on our walks together. She was always so happy and full of joy.
We’ll never forget our welcomes from her, where she vibrated with excitement and always brought us one of her mum or dad’s shoes as a welcome gift!
Our hearts go out to her family at this most unbelievably devastating time. We’re thinking of them and sending them all our love. Rest in peace sweet Roxie 🌈💔

This gorgeous boy joined us a few weeks ago and he has fitted in so well. He’s such a happy, friendly and very cuddly chap 🥰
