Murphy recently had a one off assessment and training session with me. He’s a super friendly boy who has dedicated owners already doing a great job! This family just wanted some pointers to tweak a few little behaviours before anything could become an issue. We also introduced a fun scentwork game for him that he took to straight away!

Training walks aren’t all about play and running around.

We want our dogs to be relaxed, comfortable, and confident within their environment.

Obi can be a little unsure of traffic, but is doing a fantastic job here alongside a carpark at a local country park. Here he is,spending time having a good sniff and taking time to explore the new environment around him in a low pressure way with plenty of space to move freely on the long line.His family are doing super work in socialising and training him.

I’ve talked about this before, but I think it’s worth revisiting as everyone is out enjoying the summer. Social media can put a lot of pressure on us as dog owners to follow what others do with their dogs, with our own. (I get the irony of talking about it on social media!)

Insta life vs real life- These expectations can often be totally unrealistic and yet it leaves people feeling like bad owners.

Different dogs have different lives; different home setups, and different things they need to be able to do to live their best lives with their family.

Train your dog so you can live your best lives together, whatever that means for you!
