Pennine Grooming Dog groomer based in a home but professional setting in Slaithwaite EST 2013. All breeds catered for Pennine Grooming offers an extensive pet grooming service.

Specialising in Dogs and Cats but also small animals. Any personal preference for your pet will be undertaken from a bath trim and tidy up to a full clip. Any coat type/ skin condition/ size of animal or even just nail clipping available. Lynsey has owned dogs, cats and horses most of her life and has many years experience of pet care. We are fully insured for 3rd party liablility which also covers your pet if there is any unfortunate accident while they are in our care. We do take every precaution to protect your pet from any incidents, but being animals unfortunately accidents can happen. Lynsey works in a Boarding Kennel environment but now specialized in Dog grooming. You can be sure your pet will be in caring capable hands. Collection service available on request. With being very busy and working Monday to Saturday, my time off is also very important so I can be at my best for your lovely dogs, and so I don’t reach burn out. If you message on a weekend, I may not reply till the next working day, or when I get a chance.

If you think I’ve forgotten or you’ve seen me around Slawit and mentioned fidos appointment feel free to message me again as I really don’t mind. I have a lot of plates spinning and doing the admin side along with the physical grooming, along with my own family and animals means I’m just very busy, and forget things. I’m just a busy human

Gorgeous Georgie popped in for just a bath and nail trim at tge weekend but in true Pennine Groomi g style, he got his feet tidied and hygeine area and more than was asked for, as I just love helping the dogs out.

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been helping a lovely customer out who’s dog has had one of the worst yeast imbalances I’ve ever seen. Their dog’s skin was so sore, scabby, flaky and inflamed that he refused to leave the house. Wouldn’t go for walks and was in a bit of a state. It happened quickly too. His owners have had him at the vets, he’s had foam to rub on, tablets and shampoo to use at least every other day. My customer tried their best at home to bath their dog, but he’s an escapologist. The shampoo has to stay on for at least 10 mins and there wasn’t a hope in hell they could keep the dog in the bath, in one place, even outdoors he jumped over the garden wall and did a disappearing act. They decided it was probs better if I did the baths as I’m set up for that. A week of him coming every other day for his treatment shampoo and finally the dogs skin is starting to heal!! The dog is leaving the house again for walks and it looks like we’re starting to fight the battle. Vet visit for the dog on Monday so we’ve another bath Friday and continue next week just to make sure the dogs skin is fully healed.

I’m in no way a vet and their advice is absolutely crucial when things get so bad, but it’s great to be able to try and help get this dog back to full health. Still a way to go but a big THANK YOU to his owners for trusting me with him while we get his skin healthy again x

It’s come to light that tge alternative groomers in Slaithwaite are not able to fit any new clients in so this is a heads up that I can accommodate more new clients but also to people who don’t book in on a regular cycle, please book in with plenty of notice as I’m already getting busier as the other business are sending their clients here too. I hope everyone has had a fab summer, and as we get the kids back to school this week, I thought I’d best let you know what’s going on at Pennine Grooming.

Same quality 1-1 dog grooming service, with animal mad Lynsey, in my home set professional grooming room. Can you believe I’ve been running Pennine Grooming for 12 years now!!! 😲🐶✂️

A groomer who started in Slawit way after I set up has now given up her business to spend time with her young family so I have picked up customers from her and also others with new dogs, but I am still taking on new clients as the length of time I’ve been grooming is the natural life cycle of most dogs so I have lost a few to rainbow 🌈bridge. With this in mind and to make sure you all get your furry friends sorted for Christmas (yes… I def say that word) It’s now 17 weeks away and as most of you are in an 8 week grooming schedule this means 2 more grooms. If you’d like to book your next 2, to make sure you are in my diary, please let me know. Be warned that you may have to wait a couple of weeks for availability at the moment if you’re not booked in too as I am slightly busier now than I have been. All good, just needs a little more notice for your dog to come see their Aunty Lynz 🐶💜✂️

I’m now back from my holiday but I’m absolutely shattered after finding out my keys had fallen out of my bag on the way to the airport… and having to come home tgen immediately return to Manchester for my car with my spare keys.
