Wellโฆ today definitely didnโt go to plan! ๐๐พ
Somewhere along our walk today I managed to lose the van key. The van was locked, all the dogsโ house keys were inside it, we were in an area with barely any phone signalโฆ and I had a full gang of dogs with me!
After retracing the same route more times than I care to remember and having no luck, Steven and his friend came to our rescue and got all the dogs back to my house, where we could get everyone settled and actually think through what we were going to do next. My mum also came to help, so it really did turn into a family rescue mission! โค๏ธ
I headed back out and walked that route AGAINโฆ and on what was going to be my very last attempt, I FOUND THEM! ๐๐
The dogs had been by my side through the whole saga and were absolutely shattered by the end of it. While I was stressed beyond belief, they were having the time of their lives โ extra walking, extra sniffing and one very unexpected adventure! ๐
Not every day goes to plan, and today certainly tested me, but the most important thing was making sure every single dog was safe, looked after and eventually home tired and happy.
A massive thank you to all my wonderful owners for being so understanding and working with me while we got everything sorted. And a huge thank you to Steven, his friend and my mum for dropping everything and coming to rescue us. I genuinely couldn't have managed today without you all. ๐
And before anyone says itโฆ the van key already has a tracker on it now! ๐๐
Definitely a Paws On The Move adventure I won't be forgetting in a hurry! ๐พโค๏ธ
